Love the pack and have been using it for a long long time now. I'm encountering a problem with the latest pack (3.2), the animations are murdering my computer. I can barely move on my server, is there anyway to make a slightly less animation heavy pack for people like me with old crappy comps? Or a suggestion on how to take them out myself would be great as well.. thanks!

oh... We can make non-animated pack, but you must know, that compass and clocks using animation-render system, so you decide, we can do it easily: 1) cut all animations but clocks and compass 2) cut all animations (including clocks and compass)

Well I'm not sure. I'm not very texture pack savvy, but 3.11 works fine, 3.2 does not. The major difference I can see are those text files to define the animations. When I load it with Optifine most of the textures say 'texture missing'. i'm not sure what I can do about it, but 3.11 runs perfect, 3.2 I can barely move my head. Suggestions of anything I can do?

I am having this same problem. All my smooth sandstone now says "Missing Texture" whereas it was just the tops and bottoms of the wood blocks (the ones in the trees). Also, when I put a CD in my jukebox, it changes to "Missing Texture".

Are you useing the extended CTM, because if not, i recommend you do that
I have no clue what the CTM is, but I deleted the old folder, added the extended one and it seems to have fixed my problems including the lag issues. So cheers about that! Make that standard or something
Hey everyone. Does anyone know if it is possible to use wool as a connected texture like glass?
And does anyone know who might have made this texture . I saw it posted somewhere in this thread, but I had a copy of it from a very old modified Ovo's pack also.
I'm wondering how it might look on buildings like this if it lost the square frame work between connecting blocks.
Yeah, Square wooden frame around the entire thing, with diamonds in between. Not sure how it would look, but I don't mind attempting it, I assume I could just use modified glass CTM files for that ?
I was not positive where the original framework came from, I do believe the background was Ovo's white wool though.
I have to leave for a while, but when I am home I will mess around with it
Hmm...an strange thing happened when I went to use my furnaces...
I download loardvader's ctm pack and installed it to the pack in place of the regular ctm but it made no difference.
They are fine until you ignite them, then the face is gone.
So do any of the people that make and curate this pack know why some of us are having the texture missing problem? Or why the default pack is requiring modifications before it works for us? Is this a problem on our ends or glitch in the new way MC handles textures or what?
what "extended one" exactly? I'm having this same problem, and I don't know how to fix this :S
On the first page of the thread one of the sections says "CTM" I downloaded that, deleted the old CTM folder in the texture pack, replaced it with that one and everythign seemed to work. it is still laggy but now I can use Optifine (previously with Optifine I was getting the texture missing problem) so that fixes most of the lag.
You're welcome
added to "still to be done" in OP
Yes, i think we should make parallel version of ORR, just darker, could you send me it in PM?

There's a small album with some screenshots.

Another tiny item for the "Still to be done" list...
Item #392 Potato and #393 Baked Potato still have their textures swapped in the 3.2 pack.
I renamed them myself again.
"Eventually" (Y)
that stupid elusive potato >.>
(i use darker style of texture pack, so if u want lighter just add some brightness)

Excelent! looks alot better then the straight up gold/iron texture for it. Im assiuming you used the same method for the stone pressure plate?
