Wow, you guys are amazing! I think this is a great continuation of Ovo's pack! The textures are extremely similar--if not identical--to Ovo's style. They're gorgeous! Will definitely be using this updated pack. Thank you for all your hard work!
This (unfinished!) would be the second stage of growth; trying to mimic the style of some of the old wild grass textures Ovo did (with some influence from Misa's rather delightfully grotesque Nether Wart as well, particularly in the colors used.) In the final stage, the bulb (is that the right term?) would open, revealing some sort of seed pod thingy inside, which is what you would collect for potion-making or replanting.
Thoughts/suggestions/critique?
EDIT: Oh wow, I messed up. Forgot that the Nether Wart model used the texture four times in a square formation, rather than two times in a cross formation (like the flowers.) I'll have to change it up a bit, probably add a second plant beside it.
Woot, that is awesome! I really like your style Gl0u0m. Thus far I'm only using textures from you and Azon_PL, because I don't find the others fitting enough with the rest of Ovo's textures.
Keep up the good work guys!
Thanks! :smile.gif:
Figured I'd try my hand at armor today... had a bit of an iffy start, but I think I'm getting the hang of working in 64x. Here's a quick preview:
Also, because it didn't feel right teasing you guys with a second unfinished texture preview in a row and nothing you could actually use, here's a glass alt:
I assume that's the leather armor? Love it! Very Robin Hood alike, hehe.
It is indeed. I was going for the "rustic peasant/farmer" look, but I suppose it might be interesting to try making a little feathered Robin Hood cap to go with it, haha. Maybe as an alt? :wink.gif:

Did you use MC patcher as well? Because then you need to leave some class files out. All versions of Optifine support HD textures. Just reinstall and it should be alright.
Wow. Nice texture of the leather armor :biggrin.gif:
BTW, I have created a video review about this texture pack. It is the first video in my "Texture Pack Trailers" review series. If you want to put it on the original post, that's fine. But, just a suggestion :wink.gif: Lol.
Please check it out anyway. :smile.gif:
Thanks for bringing this texture pack back up. This is my favorite pack.
No, I didn't.
Yeah and I'm probably going to reinstall all my mods(I have alot..) since I can't get the game working after I installed water shader and elemental creepers
Water shader is incompatible with Optifine :tongue.gif:
Bookmarked this page. It looks like a beautiful texture pack and I would greatly like to have something that I'm able to use without getting annoyed and switching back to default.. I have no artistic talents whatsoever, so I won't contribute anything except my opinion. :smile.gif: Good luck to all who are able to help.
Oh wow... At first I thought the steampunk-ish style wouldn't fit the rest of the pack, but after seeing it in-game: AWESOME!
Thanks! One of the things that defines "rustic" style to me is an affinity for the antique and the handcrafted, so I felt like an old clockwork device might fit nicely. I knew there was a risk of making something that was too steampunk, which wouldn't have fit with the rest of the pack, so I was very careful to keep the clockwork element subtle, tiny, hidden away... as if whoever constructed them was more keen on presenting them as a sturdy, practical cast-iron tool than a marvel of modern mechanical innovation. I am quite pleased with the result. :smile.gif:

Very epic Gl0u0m!
reminds me of Link's clothes.
Do it :tongue.gif:
Hello hee4ever!
Are you sure you installed the right version of Optifine?
the one you want is "OptiFine HD D3 Standard for Minecraft 1.0.0"
Screenie cause it says a million words:(Or something like that lol)

There is a compatibility patch for them somewhere, though I'm not sure if it's updated yet.
EDIT: You might want to test out the furnace gui. There are lines that shouldn't be there where you put the fuel, the input, and output.
Absolutely epic.
As soon as I can get Minecraftcustomiser.net to work....or if I find an alternative.
Holy **** those are good.
I edited the lava top onto the one with the open circle on it's face.
The sounds they make fit those textures perfectly. A metallic breathing sound inside a metal box :tongue.gif:
