Black and White is exactly what it sounds like. This texture pack renders the world of Minecraft in shades of fetching grey. The water, lava, and a few trees (not sure why) remain in color, though. These give off a sort of Sin City aesthetic.
Please read that last sentence. THIS IS MY FIRST TEXTURE PACK. I will make better ones in the furute.
Not to be mean, but don't use excuses saying "This is my first texturepack"
Because I see it too much, just next, time, spend more time on it, this didn't take any skill to what i have seen.
Wow, well done guys, you just bashed him for no reason. Ok, so this was simple to make, well done for figuring that out. But while it may be simple, it's still a texture pack and probably saves people the time of making it themselves. By the way, the forums are public, so unless you own them you can't tell people they can't post their work. Grow up guys, have a little respect for other people.
This looks like it took a really long time to create! You opened a terrain.png, slapped a greyscale filter on it and then uploaded it to mediafire!
Please, it probably took you longer to make this thread than it did to create the texture pack, so don't post it.
At least he didn't use adf.ly...
yesterday someone released a black and white texture pack with an adf.ly link, and I quoted them and changed it to "I'll apply filters to default Minecraft files and make money using adf.ly!" in bold and then responded with nope. in big letters, and then reported it for the simple edit-url-shortener money scheme, that and improper title formatting. It got removed like 10 minutes later :biggrin.gif:
which reminds me... the title of this pack should be:
[16x][1.0.0]Black and White Texture Pack

It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

How many of these "Filter everything" packs do we have now?
There's yet more to come!
Thank you! Have diamonds, sir.
I will update this soon. Please be patient.
