I was just wondering if you'd be interested in picking up where I left off with finishing Mo' Creatures support for Isabella. I'm not sure if you saw my post in the Isabella thread, but I've done most of the icons, and I just don't have the time (or the patience) to skin the mobs. If you're interested, I'd be more than happy to send you what I've done so you can include it with your textures, or edit them to your own liking. Thanks for your consideration!

UprootMe, I am flattered. I would love to take up your mantle--in fact, I had Mo' Creatures in my sights, but saw what you were doing and liked what I saw! Please PM me with the details!
I have added support for Wireless Redstone. This mod has some non-standard GUIs that I left alone. I only textured the blocks.
I have removed the Adcraft links. I really don't like adding inconvenience for you guys. If you want to show me support, click the reputation button on one of my posts.
Bonemouse has offered to let me--unofficially--post a version of Isabella with my some of my skins already installed. I'll be getting that together in the near future.
My RailCraft textures don't go very well with the Isabella textures for Vanilla rails. I have created alternates that bonemouse is going to add to the customizer when it is fixed. They are below for those of you who want them.

C'mon, scott. Stick with the BTW support. After all, bonemouse has some out of date official support, so you've got some groundwork.
True. But, BTW support for me is a large effort with no payout.
I always felt that FlowerChild thumbed his nose at the community (of which I was a part) of people who used his mod. In his blog and forum posts he says this himself and even adds "Good Riddance", or something to that effect. This never sat well with me.
I will not do this to you. I feel a flat out "no" is unreasonable, so I'll make a commitment: If the community of users surrounding this post has a good population of people who healthily contribute to the discussion and they want me to texture BTW, or any other mod that I don't use, I will do it if the mod allows me to. If you want support for a certain mod, lobby for it by contributing here and inviting other people who want the same thing to participate as well. Surely my effort is worth this effort.
As an alternative, I would support and be willing to offer advice, etc., to anyone who wants to create Isabella-style textures for any mod. But keep in mind that I am just some guy who can use Photoshop and wanted his Minecraft textures to all match. I have developed a few tricks to adapt textures, but I am not a trained artist.
Well, FC has quite a dry sense of humour. The only info I managed to gather from this dispute was some of Battosay's interview with FlowerChild, and, being the guy who wants to develop an impartial evaluation on this sort of thing, I'd love for you to direct me to some resources that show Eloraam's point of view.
On an on-topic note, I'd like to propose a request for the hilariously monumental task of making Isabella style textures for every alternative texture and item in AdventureCraft.
I'm not sure what Eloraam has to do with my decision...but I encourage you to PM Eloraam directly. She responds well to almost anything in my experience.
Adventure craft looks like tremendous fun--and you are right, it looks like a LOT of work---but I might take a look at it; however, the download link is currently not working. If you'd let me know when it is back up I will get it and investigate.
Uh, from what I know; FC dropped forge due to a dispute between him and El over the invasiveness of forge. FC said he wanted it to be as non-invasive as possible, whilst El was adding tons of hooks so that RP could have all the features they wanted. I respect FC's decision, but think that El was doing the right thing.
I believe there's 3 terrain.png's. HAVE FUN!
I'll let you know when I can.
Edit - Balkon's weaponmod is another good mod, and I think it's thread has some out-of-date Isabella support. Shouldn't be to hard to update that.
I did not drop BTW because FC dropped Forge.
Yes. Adventurecraft looks like it will take a commitment, but it supports many alternate textures at one time--plus, the mod itself looks fun!
Yes, I like Balkon and may do something with it, but out of respect, I'll need to contact the current maintainer of Isabella textures for it to find out his intentions. I don't want to duplicate efforts, nor step on toes. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

She doesn't really do 'interviews' or self-promotion, but her philosophy and plans are best found on her blog. There's not even that much to read there, certainly no bloviating, but I think you'll get her side. My take is that she's doing her thing just like FC is doing his thing, and has every right to do so, but the real difference is that she's co-creator in an API that allows a ton of other mods to participate in the fun. The whole 'bloat' thing is tripe in my opinion. The timeline of FC praising Forge in interviews to him jumping out of it is amazingly short. Then we have another short period between the whole BTW is meant to be played stand-alone, to suddenly, BAM!, B,tB. OK, dude, we HAD that when BTW was, briefly, a Forge mod. :/
In any case, I don't have the time to play all the FORGE mods I'd like to play. I certainly don't have time to play stand-alone mods in necessarily-unique, parallel worlds.
Personally, I would like to see more than a progression mod, like BTW. I'd like a 'real' game to be buried somewhere in MC. (Not that modded MC isn't fun. It is. And even vanilla MC is oddly compelling.)
Calcifire on the Thaumcraft thread put it best:
the story at the moment is just "get items, kill dragon, A WINRAR IS YOU!"
there's no motivation to do things:
"why should I go to the nether?" to get blaze rods "why do I need them?" To enter The End "why do I need to go there?" to kill a dragon "Why do I need to kill a dragon?" erm... the endermen stole your grass, go get it back "THOSE BASTARDS!"
There's already a kind of LOST island feel to Minecraft. I wish there was a mod that exploited all the stuff that is already there in the game, and gave you a reason to find the abandoned mine, a stronghold, a Nether stronghold, etc.
Is there a mod that sends a wave of dirty, smelly zombies if you collect too many valuables? You could call it Occupy Minecraft.
My current mods using Forge 1.2.4: IC2 1.43, BC 2.2.11, RP2 pr4c, EE 5.7.3, Thaumcraft 1.2.1, Railcraft, PG4, WR 1.5, Adv Machines for IC2, Logistics Pipes 0.1.6, AddlBCPipes, Power Converters, BC-IC Crossover, Treecapitator, Charging Bench, Thermometer, Forestry, Ender Chest, NEI, ReiMM v2.9, OptiFine_1.0_HD_MT_D3, various Risugami & DaftPVF mods, & bonemouse's Isabella textures w/ScottKillen's add-ons. (Update to MC 1.1 in progress.)
I spend a LOT of time keeping up with the many mods that I run...and a LOT of time developing textures...and a LITTLE time playing Minecraft. To remedy this, I have switched mt main world to use direwolf20's configuration (he keeps up with the updates and I keep up with him) plus a few other choice mods, the implications for this thread are:
I have added all of direwolf's mods that I have not yet retextured to my future plans.
Bonemouse has offered to let me distribute unofficial "mixes" of Isabella. The first of these I release will be a direwolf20 mix. These mixes will contain all of my textures for direwolf's mods, plus my preferred customizations to bonemouse's vanilla skins.
I am experimenting with HD GUIs. Isabella requires an HD patch to get the full effect of the pack. This means that I should be able to upsize the GUI screens to add more detail and some interesting effects without sacrificing in-game performance. I am currently experimenting with this. If all goes well, I will be releasing HD versions of the vanilla GUIs and all of the GUIs of the mods in this thread. The extra resolution will allow me to incorporate some interesting features as well as add some subtle color effects as appropriate. Thank you HeadHunter67 for the feedback that spawned this idea! I added a "Current Plans" section to the OP with this in it.

I need your help!
I am working on a project involving the GUI screens found in this thread. If any of you knows of a current glitch in any of my GUIs, please post it here with a screenshot if possible.
Thank you!!!
I am currently aware of glitches with the Railcraft Coke Oven GUI and the IC2 Generator GUI.

I and my 8yo son are doing the Direwolf20 'mix', so it works perfectly for me.
So I used to use power crystal's mods in 1.8.1, but haven't been sure which ones might be compatible currently (see my mod versions in sig). Anyone know if the Power Converter mod and/or the Minefactory Reloaded mod is compatible with Forge?
Thanks

I have used both with forge...but not the latest forge. Also, I am concerned because PC has stopped supporting his mods and given them to the technic pack team...so, I have not used the mods for a while.
It's official! The Three Amigos!
I'm sure SOTmead will throw in his hat as well. :smile.gif:
