The above-ground level of my agriculture preservation center out in the sticks (WIP, still needs alot of sprucing up)

Oh, and if I may make a request.....
Could you change the color of the selected item border in the item hotbar?
Or at least make it bolder?
I'd imagine when your running from an unexpected mass mob attack, it would be kind of difficult to quickly pinpoint which item you're scrolling to in it's current state.
Anyway, glad to see the update! Time to mess around with the new goodness.
the new slabs are just beast ! I notice you didn't fix the tiling mistake with the wood and you didn't add a "new version here" on your v1.0 planet-minecraft thread. Thank for all your work santi :smile.gif:
D'oh! The wood tiling thing is on the list. I'll nail it for 2.0. Thanks for the reminder.
Love the update! Especially the new stone slabs and glass.
I switched places of the stone bricks and mossy stone bricks textures again though. It still feels a little too repetitive. I guess i could have solved it by making a house mainly out of mossy bricks, but they are a little harder to get if you play legit.
Middle screenshot is the version where i swapped textures.
~snip~
Keep up the good work! Can't wait for 2.0 :smile.gif:
Can you show me the terrain.png so I can see where you swapped things around? That'd be a great help! Thanks!
Truly an excellent texture pack, capturing the atmosphere perfectly: While nature seems to be mostly unaffected as of yet, the manufactured world is slowly crumbling. And if you go underground, you'll find the horrors that are about to befall the world.
My only concern is that the signs should look like actual signs, rather than trying to make them sofa arms.
There are sign alternates within the pack. Open the pack, delete sign.png, rename one of the alts to sign.png. Close the pack. Play! :smile.gif:

I just wanted to pop on the forums and thank you. This my favorite texture pack, the art-style of it is just amazing...I have seen some of other "post-apoc" texture packs and they are very underwhelming compared to this work of art...But this one goes above and beyond. The only think I would even consider changing is the lapiz and that is only because my friend uses lots of it...So, his house and floor look like they are made primarily from china cabinets XD. By the way, are you planning on doing armor? I can't wait to see them if you are.
What's new in 1.5? I am making a map for a friend that uses this texturepack. Can you make the sky a kind of haze brownish grey? That would look so cool! plus, the bow needs to be a shotgun and at least one type of armor should be a hasmat suit, and for the diamond armor it should be like a nanosuit from crysis!
Thats really incredible! How long did it take you to make?
Off and on about hmm... 2 months? Not consecutive days though. All told it was probably a good two weeks worth of real sit down work if it was like my job.
Love the pack, only food for thought would be for us that are color blind the darkness is a bit much and no matter how much you turn up the brightness somethings just blend together.
- Side note: .....Totally indefensible legal crap... its called the "Fair Use" Law and there are plenty of things I can do and use and never need to tell you such as videos, parodies, educational such as showing people how to color or shade...etc. So remember nothing is indefensible if you look hard enough. Just remeber Scrolls
but really its a great pack.
other side note cause you said it, but Acknowledging the source of the copyrighted material does not substitute for obtaining permission. so even if you gave them credit for the work it doesn't count.

Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don't desire, but they're inevitable, we have to face them. It's what being human is all about.

I have several lawyer friends and trust me, someone suing because of a texture set is pretty much a fool's gambit unless an actual real life big company is using my artwork without my permission. If it's just some kid trying to pass off my art as his, suing him is going to waste both our time and money. It's one of those things I just sorta roll my eyes at because I get it (I wouldn't wanna be ripped off, nor would I ever rip someone off), but acknowledge just how pointless it really is. It is, at its core, a paper tiger.
Either way, pointless argument. Glad you enjoy the pack :smile.gif:
This has to be one of the most original looking packs I've seen. I really like what you've done with the chests. Keep up the good work I can't wait to see more texturepacks from you after you're done working on this project!

Less requesty: The update looks great! I assume everything is uphill from any time during this packs existence. Seems like it. :tongue.gif:

I'll be working on the items and stuff in the coming days, don't worry!

Lots of fun stuff! Give it a download and explore :wink.gif:
Definitely going to use this!
Also, some of you might've noticed the billboard for "Stormin' Norman" in the kz.png
Soon it'll be revealed what that's all about :wink.gif:!

Armor hasn't really been touched...
...unless some REALLY early WIP stuff got in there (the leather armor) in which case, do ignore it! It's totally not done :wink.gif:
I've got some good ideas for the armor here in the future :biggrin.gif:!
