Hey guys, I really have to apologize for my long absence.
It's a combination of things:
New games (omg Bioshock Infinite!), crazy busy Real Life ™ schedule, and some other personal pixel projects I'm doing as well. I'm humbled to see so many people still so interested in this pack.
I'll tell you what. After May, when I get free time once again, I'll work to getting an update out for this pack. What do you say?
Please, take as much time as you like, I'm just happy to find out that you didn't abandon this jewel.
Suggestion: Keep horses the same, but have the various armors be more modern types of barding. Think mounted police barding.
Hay will be odd, since the wheat is tomatos... Hardened clay could be worn-down chipped adobe, perhaps? Or maybe a block to match up with bricks in some form?
Rather than making a barrel of tomatoes what if the hay bale was just a giant deformed tomato. Since most of the food in your texture pack is a bit odd: Examples: pear/apple hybrid, golden onion, MREs. Why not a tomato block?Hardened clay on the other hand could just be dilapidated bricks just like stone bricks and cracked/mossy stone bricks
I think it might be best to provide a more complete set of additions (assuming he hasn't already gathered them) before suggesting what things could be. I'll give it a shot.
Internal Texture-related Changes:
• Textures now use one file per block/item, which are stitched together at runtime
• Each texture can have its own resolution and may be animated by putting the frames underneath each other - A text file is needed to specify frame order and duration
• Special rules apply for Water & Lava (double size) and Compass & Clock (non-animatable, frames are used for moving parts)
• Vanilla textures will be used for missing texture files

The only textures we need are:
Activator Rail
N.Quartz Ore
N.Quartz (Item)
N.Brick (item)
Trapped Chest
The rest already have textures.
In fact, I've been playing with the new textures, check it out!
Re-configured generators, they were customized to accept electricity from Solar sources.
One of the government's last super computers.
An old contruction site, modified to become a Watchtower and a place for Solar Panels.
That looks fantastic! Yeah, I wasn't certain what had already been done. I just wanted to feel as if all/most of the info was present for you guys in a one place without all the other non-texture related stuff getting in the way. Are you someone who officially works on this pack? I've seen the pack many times but am only just now starting to use it, so I'm not certain.
Either way, keep up the great work.
Do you know if there is a language pack for this as well? It would help solidify the immersion.

I used to maintain the Minecraft Forums Mod List. However, life has stepped in the way of that. Perhaps later...

OMG! SANTI, YOU'VE RETURNED!
*Ghorsp for breath*
Ok, so now I can not go cray-cray and try to go dokucraft (that is, community maintained herpy-derpy-doo.) on this pack. (Couldn't have done it untill I translated the legal-stuff to see if it was possibru.)
So... uh... I'll just leave the crazy fruits of my crazy labor here... (Yes, the entire icons.png. Ignore the text, it was a personal boredom killing project to turn the writing shown in this into an MC font.)
I'm gonna be honest with you folks! Here's my schedule for the future: I'll be starting work on this pack again in late May (this month, whee!!) because I'm busy gettin' hitched to my wonderful fiance.
So! After I'm done with that Real World (tm) event, I'll be back to pushin' pixels for you!

What would you like to see me tackle first?
Here's the item.png if ya' want it.
NOTE: The "Connection" icons at the bottom may or may not be broken, also, I didn't do the wierd circle things.

I'd like to see the rest of the blocks and items get finished from the previous and latest(1.5) update before anything.

How about the chain armor makes you look your infected? Since it is impossible to get ingame without mods or creative mode, how about it makes the character look like they are mutated or something, similarly to the Slime or the zombie? In addition, can enchanted books be textured similarly to the book that is present on the enchantment table? I also think that the icons on the screen should not be individual symbols, but rather a bar, for hunger, health, and armor. And can the Blaze mob be an advanced robot attack drone of some type? It would be somewhat damaged, and be guarding the ancient ruins, because when the scientists first arrived to conduct studies of the hellish world, they would need something to guard them from the flying mutants and the molten monsters that inhabit that world.
Are you sure connected textures can't change them like everything else?
I think that this is a great idea and that it should be used. It could make the wool textures from TEiEV be able to be added onto this pack.
I have decided that since there is no sign of anyone making a language pack, I have decided to make it myself. I do, however, have a couple of questions about the pack for the people:
I was thinking that the Minecraft launcher should be similar to an apocalyptic simulator (Like single player is "Select Apocalypse Scenario" and similar to that.) Do you all think this is a good idea or should I do this differently?
What are diamonds exactly? I feel somewhat stupid for not knowing for sure but they look like lightbulbs, but I know this cant be. What are they?
What is cobblestone, moss stone and and the stonebrick varients going to be named?
Are you all ok with Iron being named Metal? I do not feel that the average survivor would be able to tell the difference between iron and any normal metal in this pack.
What should the diamond armor be named?
Anyone got any tips for me when I do this? I really want all of your opinions and suggestions to make this as helpful to the immersion of TEiEN as possible, for the enjoyment of all who use this pack.

Internal Texture-related Changes:
Blocks:
Block-Items: (2 textures each: Held as item, placed as block)
Items:
Placeable Entities: (Usually chests, vehicles/transportation)
Miscellaneous Additions: (. . . that you may want to accommodate for)
I hope that's everything, and I hope it helps. Each are linked to their respective MinecraftWiki pages for more information on said additions/changes.
Good day!

N.Quartz Ore

true, there is so many mobs, unfinished, and needed for rescaling or whatever, wither not done for example
