I like this pack for being something different in the Sea of Apocalyptic Texture Packs flooded with Fallout inspired steam punk crap. The Half-Life 2 style doomsday feel of "Humanity getting flushed down the crapper" is very interesting, moreso than "Herp Derp, Dis R Fallout reepoff Nombah 687298745"
I'll be updating the set eventually. Sooner than later. I'd like to get the enemy mobs finished before the next release.
Upon the next release will also be a supplemental release which will make another version of the set with plain colored wools, bolted metal plates for iron and gold blocks, etc. So that this set will work easily with vanilla Minecraft sets.
Glad to hear about the upcoming vanilla set! As much as a love this pack, I will love it even more when I can use it on my normal survival worlds without everything looking strange.

I hear ya Actually it was playing with some folks I work with that made me finally decide to do this. Their server has a HUGE city and sadly, some of my flavor-wools made it look really odd.
I had an idea for the custom mobs. How about the sheep are like these Hermit-Crab like robots, that just take random materials for their "shell" if you will. that way it explains how some have cardboard box drops, and how others have metal air vent drops and stuff. just a suggestion. Love the Pack too ^^
@santiago just wondering if in the post with the security cameras and i assume the new skeleton textures, would that also be the new pumpkin overlay? Also i mentioned the idea of a customizer page for the pack? you mentioned it was a good idea, dunno what the progress on that is but i can manage the page, probably not draw any textures, not much of a tex artist, but i can manage the page, add in texture submitted by people. just thought, still want to have a customizer page, I'm not sure if you said you dont want other peoples textures, im sure someone said that. anyway just wondering about that.

Interesting idea... a pretty elegant solution to the "That sheep just dropped a cardboard box..." conundrum.
Hmm. I'll give it a whirl and see what comes of it!

I'll be doing two versions of the pack. One for non-detailed wool/metal block sets and the other you all already know! Should be plenty.
A little preview of the "vanilla" set I'm making that will make this set work with your traditional maps more readily.
The biggest change will be that the detail blocks I made for the wools will all be converted to just plain ol' wool textures. Added to it all though, are the changed iron, gold, and diamond blocks pictured here! Enjoy
I love the new ore blocks! They're very fitting, and they also have more uses than just as decorative shelves.
And while I'm a fan of normal-colored wools, I bemoan the loss of your intricate and beautiful red and yellow wools. Is there a possibility of seeing all of the colors in that original style?

Sure, I suppose I can do that. I figured most folks use them as sorta multi-use colored roofs, designs, or grand pixel art. Then again, if they're doing giant pixel art they're probably not gonna want to use an "art" pack like this.

The normal wools are pretty plain, I gotta admit!
That's very true. When I make pixel art (which isn't often), I tend to go with a faintly patterned simple pack that pays more attention to the color of the wool than the design of the wool. But then again, I don't use those packs for normal survival, like I would with this pack.
Since it went by fairly unnoticed last post, there is a slight tiling error in the lava.(The biggest hardened chunk can be easily seen)
If you can't see it:
EDIT: There's actually a straight line intersecting the ones I put on it. So, yeah.
Thanks for pointing this out! I'll see what I can do, but no guarantees. It's hard to make something tile 100% perfectly on small surfaces over great lengths. Just part of the game, sadly. Good catch though

A camp in front of a water transporting pipe. (This is the Happy Campers mod here.)
The Mine Craft Anonymous Materials Lab Water Tank 001.
Whoever was here was not so lucky.

New wools are done! A little plain, but very fitting for what some folks use wool for. I'll be uploading sooner than later
Also: Just felt like doing this. Replaced the chainlink with this rusty-hole-covered sheet metal. Great for making sheds, factories, etc.
