1.5 please? Just saying that this is my favorite texture pack ever made and is a lot better than packs like Faithful... If not, can you send me the filter for this pack so I can update it? Because this pack is amazing and MUST NOT DIE!!!
As always the downloads on the front page have been updated. Let me tell you, trying to make the clock and compass textures after the update was a pain in the neck! Also I like the new file format
Fun fact: Before being 'compressed' into the .zip folder, the 64x64 pack is 3.75MB. After 'compression' is becomes 6.56MB. Anyone know where these extra 2.81MBs are coming from?
TNT minecart texture isn't done yet. Fix it please =D
Thank you! That was just a tiny mistake with the file name, so it's easy to miss stuff like that! If anyone else finds any issues with any of the textures please let me know on this thread!
I've fixed the TNT Minecarts and also an issue with the potato and baked potato being the wrong way round! *shakes fist at Dinnerbone*
Fixed spider eyes for 32x(Yes it was as simple as adding black, Looks fine in game):
Also, When you downscale the lava/fire/portal; Check It's extremely low res looking, so i had to remove them.
Thanks for the spider eyes! It doesn't make much sense to me why that works as opposed to transparency, though...
For the lava/fire/portal, since before 1.5 animations were difficult and the default textures themselves were created while the game was running I never actually made textures for them, so they are using the default textures in both packs. However, with the new texture system in place it looks like it'll be easier to do them, so I have started to work on them! That's over 150 individual textures for all of the animations, though, so it might take a while.
One thing I must ask, Does your website not like people from the United Kingdom?
I try to download the pack normally on firefox or chrome and It doesn't work, It says the website is offline/unavailable.
I have to use a proxy website to access the download which works instantly.
I've seen this problem come up quite a few times (it's even happened to me), and I've asked the guy who hosts it why it's happening. He's looked into it and says it should be fixed within a few hours! And don't worry, it's got nothing to do with being in the UK (I'm here too!)
Haha thats great! Also I've located why your compressed file is bigger than uncompressed, In the compressed file you have files called 'thumbs'; If you remove those the file size goes down.
Thank you thank you thank you! I noticed this and was really confused where all of the extra data was coming from!
No problem, I've also fixed the furnace for 32x, It has a white line inside it due to flames. I can't make the arrow look nice though..
It looks fine but I think I'm just being picky haha.
The furnace GUI in general was a bit shoddy, such as the flames/arrow not lining up properly, so I've touched it up to bring it up to my current standards. No idea why those white lines were there though, the last time I checked it worked fine o_O Thanks for pointing all of this out! ^^
Sorry If I'm being annoying by posting lots with these sort of posts
Not at all! I really appreciate it when people point out an error or something I've missed, because I want this texture pack to be as good as I can make it!
WORKING ON IT. SORRY FOR MAKING YOU WAIT. SHOULD BE DONE BY EASTER. MAYBE BEFORE THAT.
Thanks for your patience!
ATTENTION!
Defined has now been updated to 1.5!
Hooray!
