What is Shinecraft?
Shinecraft started a few months ago. I'd just figured out how to make texture packs, and ended up making a dirt block with a gradually lighter centre. I decided to make a texture pack based on it, and got quite a lot of the textures in the terrain.png done. I then took a break from it, recently finishing off the rest of the textures and updating it to 1.9pre2. So far, apart from a few particle effects and various other things, I've only done the block textures, but I'll be working hard to make sure this Texture Pack gets out of the WIP status.
Still to do:
All Mobs
GUI
Armour
Art
Item Skins

It looks like you used a gradient, I recommend never ever using a gradient for texture pack, like the comment by the person with the banana avatar said, this is called 'pillow shading' and it usually doesn't look good!

I didn't use a gradient, although I can see why you think that. I just wanted to make a simple and fun texture pack.
Pthffffbt. I like it. I've been gaining a greater appreciation of 16x texture packs lately and I think this one looks pretty cool. I'll try downloading it and see what have in the way of constructive criticism later.

Yay! Thank you! The purpose of the texture pack is to really make every block feel individual, to make them all stand out and look retro, so I don't regret the 'pillowing' at all.

Haha! It's called Shinecraft for a reason!
Could you say why you think it's disgusting, rather than leaving a SPAM-y comment?

Thanks for the constructive criticism! I'll work on the sidegrass soon.
That's okay, it's not to everybody's taste.
