This update is going to take a bit longer. The only art I've had time to do was the piston plunger.
Most of the time will actually be spent figuring out how to tackle these blocks rather than making them.
You have 3 weeks until full release.. No pressure :wink.gif:
Loaded up v0.6 last night, looking much better :biggrin.gif: Although the Vines maybe need adjusting so the biome colouring looks better when hanging off swamp trees... Looks the same in both Fast and Fancy draw modes.

Example:
I have changed neither the vines nor leaves from summerfields; I will keep this in mind :biggrin.gif:
As much as I love the idea, I'm not sure that the back fits in with the rest of the piston. Could we get some shots of the sides of the pistons?
The sides are not done yet. I just wanted to post an update and see how people responded. Besides, nobody really sees the back of a piston so I wanted to have fun with it.
AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! Amazing!!!!!! That is so awesome I LOVE the back!!!! I've never seen any pistons like that before. SO cool!!! You are so good <3
Piston bump.

The back is an homage to Glimmar.

mmmm... piston pr0n..... *drools*
hmm..? oh right my reply :unsure.gif:
I will one day remember to download summerfields and see exactly what you've done, then maybe replace the summerfields textures with upscaled defaults :wink.gif: lol..
I like it, everything is smooth, the trees I dunno they look odd, that's probably just me, Good Job!
By trees do you mean the logs, or the leaves?
The leaves are from lithiumsound's pack and the logs are mine.
I think the leaves look good (though a bit bright), but I'm going to get around to replacing them.
Now that you've changed the sides of the pistons, the Glimmar-style back definitely fits. I'm also a fan of the furnace, but not as much the fire in the furnace.
Loving ALL the sides!!!!! Fantastic job =D And I have to disagree with alcla.. I don't see anything wrong with the fire. Was it something specific you didn't like?

Are you referring to the particles or the actual texture of the lit furnace?
If it's the furnace surface, I can't make it any brighter; the in game lighting will almost always make it seem too dark. I can change the particles... eventually.

It might be beyond your control, but I dislike the location of the flames. They seem to hover on the side of the furnace instead of on the inside of the grate.

That's just how the texture works. There's no way to change it.
Out of all the sand's i prefer the first. I posted on this pack when it was just items, and now it is something amazing and beautiful! You should be proud!
Of course I'm proud! I feel like it's going very well.
I'm with @imnumberfour on this one: the first one looks the best. The frequency of the waves in the other two is too high.
I think you mean amplitude. :tongue.gif:
The first picture was actually a really flattering angle; from certain spots it looked like tubes were running through the sand due to bad shading. And it was a bit too stripy.
So I'm sorta halfway between the two now, and it's working nicely:

Is it a good color?
It is working nicely. How many waves are there per block with this texture?

Triginometric sand waves!
