I'm not sure if I like how it looks, but I wanted criticism from the public. A 32x cobblestone texture. (sorry if it's hard to see, I don't know how to make it bigger)

Needs more shading, but yes, you'd do very good. Try doing stone/grass/dirt next.
I think he means that the background could have some shading where the stones block the light and the stones that are sticking out could have some highlights.
What he's trying to say is that it looks flat, as if the stones don't have any depth. You need to add darker colors around the borders of each stone, and put some lighter colors towards the middle to imply that the stones aren't merely cardboard flats and actual stones. c:

Sure, but you haven't done much. We don'T have a big idea off one texture, but nonetheless, it looks good! I just think that it's a little too brown for cobblestone.

That looks great. I would use that.

I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night My Tumblr for my drawings and stuff: http://pwned1711.tumblr.com/
A comparison of a browner texture and a grey-er texture I whipped up. With a few edits, It could be the grey version.
In my pack. I used more directional lighting. Like on the top left corner add some highlights.
Cheers!
I will, but please read the other suggestions. This has already been said.
