k im new to the hole thing of making a texture pack so can u guys help me? i know how to dowload it but idk how to make one or get a download load link for it
You want to go into AppData/roaming/.minecraft/bin
then open the Minecraft.jar with WinRar or whatever zip program you have.
You want to drag these files/folders into a new folder somewhere
mob (folder)
gui (folder)
art (folder)
misc (folder)
terrain (folder)
title (folder)
item (folder)
armor (folder)
font (folder)
environment (folder)
terrain.png (file)
particles.png (file)
pack.txt (file)
pack.png (file)
I think you can also change achievements, which is a folder.
You want to use a program that allows transparency, an easy and free one to use is Paint.net
Once you change what you want and are ready to test it, you want to select all those files, right click, Send to --> Compressed (zipped) folder.
That gives you the .zip that you can put on Mediafire/Megaupload/etc, and what you use in the texturepack folder in .minecraft
If you need anything else, I'll watch this thread, just ask :smile.gif:
I hope I helped
