Hey dude, nice texture pack is the best next to only one that I have seen. I am trying to decide between it and this one. The other one's name is misa's texturepack
Love the textures, but seeing as there is no texture for the creeper, chicken, or villager is a bit disorienting. Could you add some skins for them? Perhaps black-feathered chickens and villagers in rags. Not sure about creepers, maybe one-eyed monstrosities.

That one has been moot point for some time. I agree that chickens ought to be fixed, but hostile mobs have always been a contentious issue between me and Steelfeathers. But I promise I will do something about them, if I can.

EDIT: Sorry, I have feathersong. No idea how I got here.
I just have to say, I absolutely adore this texture pack. It was the first one I ever downloaded and I have yet to find one I prefer. Thank you so much for all your work on this!
I can make an anvil texture, but I am still running MC1.2.5 because of my mods and my lack of time for updating. If someone can send me the anvil render, I can take a look at it and try making an anvil, as I have plenty of spare parts on hand.
Okay, more updates for Forestry mod support: mailbox, philatelist, and trading station:
I originally went for a Steampunk-like effect, recycling the piston textures but soon felt that it didn't look right. It didn't really tell the user what the machines could do, and furthermore they didn't fit with the original textures made by SirSengir (which were all blue and not wooden) - so I tried something different:
Comments? which set should we keep? I suggest that we keep the blue ones, and then donate the wooden textures to Glimmar for use in his own pack.
While they're nice, they don't fit in this texture pack, there is NO Steam punk in this pack, it's Victorian and Storybook esque. and your buckets look strange o3o

The reason why we went for Steampunk is because I wanted something Victorian-esque. After all, these textures are meant for a(n ex-) Technic pack mod. As the philatelist and the trading station are machines, we had to make them in such a way so that they were in keeping with the spirit of both the texture pack and the mod. If these scream "Steampunk", how much more the other machines such as the fermenters and such on pg 270?
Forestry deals with machines - so any Steampunk is fine, but not the rusty-geared type with buttons verging on the obsessive in quantity. Don't want Steampunk in your game? don't use the mod.
I agree that the buckets look odd - what can be done about them?
So i won't see them in regular Game? without tekkit or whatever.
I have already stated on page #272, post #5432 that they are purely meant for Tecnic pack support, and will not appear as part of the core files of Minecraft 1.4.3 - so you will not see them unless you want to install the Forestry mod by SirSengir. I have been authorised by Steelfeathers to produce Enchanted texture pack support for mods, and to provide limited assistence in editing and preparing the core files, and am answerable solely to her.
As my own modding project (for an RTS) is going smoothly and my 2nd prerelease is almost ready, I will be returning back to work on Minecraft after a long hiatus of one month. The best is yet to come!

....how on earth does that have anything to do with the quality of my work?
What's the entity/block texture panel?
kinda reminds me of glimmars steampunk, but with less cogs and robotics.
40%
Ish.
...
What?
What does that have to do with
...
what
?
There's yet more to come!
Will you be incorporating my buckets into the texture pack?

I think he is trying to say this texture pack is to mainstream. [insert wierd smiley here]
