ok little problem , my inventory is complete white - guys dont say use new MCPatcher because i used it !
and maybe add an alternative trapdoor where you can look through ?
I used the new MCpatcher without issue. You should install MCpatcher before you add ModLoader and other mods. Otherwise you will have issues.
You might want to change the date/version on the header so people know it's updated to 1.8
It is updated and has been like that for a few days; the title says so. The only things Sphax still is working on is Enderman and Silverfish textures, as far as I know. All other textures are completed.
Hey, I'm having an issue with my stone blocks...I ran MCpatcher before I installed the textures/modloader, and I still get this on the blocks. Any help would be appreciated.
Not necessary. He's already begun supporting Randommobs, and that mod's most recent
update allows you to have textures for additional wolves to accompany the already multiple cows,
pigs, sheep, etc, within the mod.
Obviously the additional benefits of that mod can be textured, but if multiple dog
variants within the game is what you're looking for, check out Sphax's edits to the mob
textures for the Randommobs mod:
I absolutely LOVE this pack. Sadly though, I tried to use the 256x256 version, but whenever I tried to go to the title screen, it said,
"OUT OF MEMORY"
So I settled for the 128x128.
Oh and I have 2 suggestions:
1. Make the hoe look normal please, it doesn't make sense hoeing the ground with a rock on a stick
2. Make the clay a whole block of clay, not just clumps in sand
I would like for you to change these in the default pack, but I would be ok with you adding these as alternates
a hoe looks like that from the side bor, the working side that is, and I think the clay block looks fine, why do you want a clay block instead of a brick block anyway
I'm just suggesting
And what do you mean by "clay block instead of a brick block"
AMAZING texture pack!!!!! I have to use the 1.8 128x128 cause I get "Out of Memory." I cant wait until I can use the 512x512 it's going to look better!
clay-bricks-brick block, the normal clayblock in minecraft looks shitty anyway, there's no way to make it not shitty
I suggested a few pages back that the clay be given an alternate texture, between sand and dirt in look and red terra cotta in color. Painterly Pack uses a similar idea. Also, not everyone wants bricks.
Wanted a new texture pack to go along with the new 1.8 update and chose this one, and am I ever glad that I did. This is definitely my new permanent texture pack. The only thing I would change is the water or the sand, majority of people probably don't mind the sand and water being almost the same, but for me I'm a island adventure/underwater kinda player and see sand/water allot. I would change it myself but there is simply no alternatives I have seen that can match the quality of your pack.
TL;DR Absolutely love this texture pack, would love even more with alternative water and sand.
I love this texture pack, how unlike other HD packs it flows and is very smooth. However, in my opinion the contrast between stone, cobblestone, and stone bricks are too similar. If I may, I wish to suggest that you provide alternatives to stone, making it smoother, without the cracks in it. Also, please make an alternative to cobblestone, making it darker and more stony, while stone bricks are lighter and more blocky. These are mere suggestions for alternatives, so feel free to disregard them, I just wish to make my point. Thank you for your amazing work.

It would be really nice to see more vector based texture packs from people!
