This evening, I'll release a new update of the pack with all the things missed from the 1.8 (except enderman and silverfish). :wink.gif:
I hope I'll have nough time to do that for all resolutions... :wink.gif:

Sorry to bug you again, but I did have a request in regards to the clay-in-sand block. Before your pack, I was using Rhodox's Painterly and got used to seeing red clay blocks, which I used with roofs/flooring/etc. The sand blocks with clay embedded into them just don't have the same effect on my roofs as they used to (think terra cotta roofing), as it is the look I am gunning for.
Any chance you could work up an alternate texture for something similar? If you could do this (along with red clay balls), it would be very much appreciated. I don't have a problem editing the files myself, so it could be set to an unused area like you did with the pumpkins. Thanks again! :smile.gif:
Pleae for the love of beautiful meadows ans plains, bring back/fix grassy dirt to display grass colors on all sides of a block when the blocks are staggered one block high!

It's already done since ages... You've probably done something wrong:
- Have you patched your game with MCPatcher?
- Are in "fancy graphics" configuration in Minecraft?
I saw a reference to your pack in a Let's Play I've been following. The maker, just like me, never really liked the higher res texture packs (64 and up) because it somehow doesn't fit Minecraft very well. At least in our opinion.
BUT! This texture pack you have made is awesome! Especially the 128x one looks very smooth!
It turns Minecraft into a cartoon. Very, very impressive work.
The only nitpicky thing I have is that I do not like the glowstone very much. Would that have been a lantern-like block I think your pack would be excellent!
Keep up the good work! I'll be following your progress. :wink.gif:
I'm sorry you were overlooked. I'm generally pretty good at keeping an eye on this thread, but somehow I missed you before.
That's a really odd problem you're having. Did you run MCPatcher first? Are you running any mods? Is this in 1.7.3, or 1.8PR?
No mods, this is on 1.8Pre. It also appears on 1.7.3 with optifine (sprout launcher). Could it be my video card or something? I'm running on a laptop with Mobile Intel Express 4 Series Chipset... I know it's not the best but it runs Minecraft. I also have Java 1.7.

I think Mojang have changed something on the rendering. Maybe because of the dynamic lights. I've been obliged to change the spider eyes texture for example... But I can't do the same trick with the terrain.png so I'll look at this small bug later.

I just tried in 1.7.3 without any mods or anything, and it seems that the game just makes anything less than 100% transparent into completely opaque. This has the problem of making everything look kind of jagged and blocky around the edges, especially on the grass, leaves, and sheep textures.
EDIT: Here's a better comparison.
Render Distance: short. I get strange sky-coloured outlines on everything but do get semitransparent pixels.
Render Distance: normal. I get no semitransparent pixels whatsoever. All 99% transparent or less pixels are made completely opaque, making the vines and grass very blocky and ugly.

OMG... OK it's not a "small" bug, but it's clearly due to MC1.8. In the meantime, play at "Normal" distance (and try using bigger resolution of the TP)?
Do you see around the items how the outline is kind of... grainy?
Is this intentional?
If not; how do I fix it?
It's not intentionnal, it's how Minecraft works... The picture you have in your hand is the same as the picture in your inventory but Minecraft don't use resample method to resize the picture to a smaller size and that's why you can see that.
Can't do anything against that... :sad.gif:

Thanks for this great pack, it's lovely.
Love it! I love how you put your signature tattoo into the XP orbs! Can't for the full 1.8 release! :biggrin.gif:
