Total retexturing? You mean the new default textures? They won't be in 1.3, but you would just take all the current textures that was available in alpha that was changed in the retexture and include that.

most resource packs like this will 100% fine with older version of minecraft all the way back to release 1.5 some feature may not work correctly sounds may have changed file names and types

I know this texture pack is supposed to be nistolgic, but the bricks are not nistalgic enough! The classic minecraft has very very very very very red bricks and these, they're just too dark. Otherwise GREAT WORK!! Example of old minecraft & bricks:

For 1.13, I made a datapack which makes zombies drop feathers again
