Probably because your computer is not powerful enough to run a 64x texture pack, or you're doing something horribly wrong. Do you have any mods installed?
i think its because of my computer is not powerful enough...i cant even use mods... :sad.gif:

That sounds more like you're doing something wrong. Mods shouldn't crash your game just from overloading the CPU, especially if you can play Minecraft normally.
47.5% through the items, guys! I'm also working on item entity textures (arrow, minecart, etc.).
I decided I might as well release what I have already. So far, the dyes, armour, tools, painting and quiver are missing new textures, but all the other items have them. Also new particles etc.
79.2% through the items now! I have all the tools bar the Hoes done, and I'll probably do another release when they are finished. I also still have to make the Armour, Painting and Quiver.
I have also made new Biome colours. I've never done Biome colouring before, so this is a bit of a tentative step forward. See what you think (This is only a small portion, mind):
Okay, so I finished the tools, and decided I might as well make this one v1.0, since I feel enough of it is completed to be satisfactory. Go to the first post to download, I'll have the link up in a sec.
By the way, it would be really helpful if someone could make a video of v1.0. I would do it myself, but my computer doesn't like screen recording programs for some reason. ;D
>_> The tool handles start off fat and then get skinny? I don't understand that. Also, the wood shovel appears to only be good for making small sandcastles. Wood pickaxe looks like a cross - all it needs is a little Jesus. The leather looks like Pedobear exposing himself, wrapped in a blanket (cannot unsee).
And the diamond sword looks like a buttplug. (cannot unsee)
Note: This is just constructive critcism. I still dig this pack very much.

The tools were kind of designed to look neater and sleeker as they get better. The wood and stone tools have very thick and rough sticks as the handles, but the better tools have more refined polished poles.
The wood shovel is pretty much only good for making sandcastles anyway. I wanted to get across the idea of simplicity. All the wooden tools are just planks or sticks strapped to other sticks. Only when we get to iron do we get any sort of real refinement. I can kind of see what you mean about the leather, though. I probably won't change it, since I doubt I can change that image and still keep it looking like cowhide.
I fail to see what you mean about the diamond sword though.

Your explanation for why the wood tools look so shabby makes sense. Haters gon' hate right? Haha. I'm glad you can see the pedobear image and it's not just my mind looking for images of pedobear in everything (etc. pedobear on a grilled cheese sandwich). However, I still cannot unsee the diamond buttplug. xD Sorry!

The wood and stone tools were made to look shabby on purpose. It's kind of a stylistic thing. :laugh.gif:
As for paedobear, I could only see it once you mentioned it, and I think it's obscure enough to leave alone. ;D
I think this texture is coming along excellent. I can't believe how fast you're getting everything done. I've been following other textures for months and some aren't done with the terrain. You just breezed through the GUI and terrain, not to mention the other smaller parts of the pack complete.
For some input, I personally prefer a grey stone so maybe you can do an alternates.png later? I've actually used your textures and modified them to accomodate those wanting a grayer stone (LINK BELOW). The only problem is that the transparent textures in the terrain are turned white kind of like the photo of the original terrain on the first page. ALSO I don't know if I can't stand it, but I really can't wait for a custom font. The one you're using is really difficult to read.
Anyway this is the terrain with a greyer stone. Some blocks are changed like some of the ores are using the shape of that of the gold ore and the mossy cobble, I have changed...
It sounds like you edited the terrain.png in a program that doesn't support transparency. Have a look at GIMP or Paint.net.
I may change the font, since it is quite difficult to read. At the moment I'm using American UncD. You can, of course, always just remove the "font" folder from the zip if you don't want it.
Thanks for the kind words, though. I may well include some of those edited textures in an optional folder.
I really like this pack, it looks quite feminine. :smile.gif:
I adore the stone and cobblestone textures.
Why thank you! ^^
Small update on progress: I'm working on more paintings. For a few of them I can recycle various pieces of art I've drawn over the years, so that's rather good. The one I'm working on at the moment is taking a long time, because I'm sticking to my original plan, and drawing them all from scratch (or recycling old stuff I've drawn. I'm not using pictures from Google, essentially), and this picture requires a full body portrait of Haruhi Suzumiya. It took me quite a while to get her face looking right. I think the rest should be reasonably easy though.
i love this pack so far. i hope in the future you make it a 128x pack.
one thing though, now i dont know if its just my cmomputer or whatever, but the font doesnt seem to be formated correctly for the text boxes. most of the time its just to big for them, but thats the only complaint i have for this pack. as for everything else its great.
do you still need saomeone to make a video for the pack, becuase i wouldnt mind taking a crack at that. just let me know what you would want in the vid

The font has a spacing issue that I'm not sure how to fix. I've seen other texture packs have this problem too, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
As for the video, I do need one still, just to show off the pack, nothing really specific, though commentaries are always helpful. ;D

Here come the paintings! I plan to draw all of these from scratch, so it's taking some time, but definitely worth it.
Here are another couple!
And is that...? Yep. Connected Textures Mod support!
I thought I'd just give you these as a sneak preview. Liven things up a little ;D
