I really like this pack. Nice colors, nice water, nice font. My only complaint is there is not a texture for sandstone?? It's the only one I see missing right now. It just uses the default. Any suggestions?
I'd hate to be one of those people, but do you have any plan to add support for the Aether mod since it just got updated to 1.2.5 today? I just picked it up again and switching back to the default texture pack feels a bit weird after using this for so long. I must say, it would be interesting to see how your dark rpg take would look with it.
I think texture pack authors should finish their pack first before starting on mods but that's just me.
What's left, other than a few particles? He's already started plenty of mod support. Why not add one of the most popular? I think it's a good idea, but that's just me.
Which his other transparent images also have if you open up the .zip.
The problem is, the checkered background on the other files isn't obstructing anything that needs to be rendered. The game can't differentiate where the item ends and where the "background" begins. There are no layers in that image and anything that's within the square tile will get rendered. So no, it isn't transparent.

I've always wanted to give it a shot, and it already goes with the idea I had of a heavenly flavored version of the pack. But it might be a while before I get to it.

I don't have that much left to do, and it's pretty minor stuff. People have begged for mods way back when I didn't even have half that I do now! However I feel confident I can finish what I am missing alongside doing mods.
Also here are the BTW items with a transparent BG. A couple items aren't done, and I had to substitute the regular bow in.

Well they have been done for a couple weeks now. So I'm gonna go with yes.
I'll have my update out the day 1.3 comes out, and hopefully I will have a few mod supports to go with it. However I will be taking a break of unknown length after that to work on another non-texture pack project.
Oh, okay. I wasn't sure if there was anything missing. I noticed that in the version I have downloaded, the Creative Menu isn't the right fit for 1.3. You got that covered, right?
That's odd, it should be up to date. I tested tomorrow's release and it's all ready at least. Unfortunately I didn't get around to making gold armor and tools and chain armor, but those are high on the priority list.
In other news, I tried out the new horizontal log placement and I am loving it.
Thanks for the comments! I will have to add portal animation to the list of changes for the next update, keep forgetting it. I'm pleased with netherack at the moment, but it's possible I will add some CTM support to it to help break up to monotony. I am going to do the ender dragon in the next update, as well as everything else in the end!
And if you're feeling up to it I would like a menu background panorama. It's not very high on my to do list since it's not so important, but I would use one if someone made a good one.
Hey, ran into a little problem with the Animated Torches.
This is how they appear close up... Nothing wrong, here...
But then as you get farther away from them, they all turn white

Other than that, I just wanted to say that I like the animated ores. I haven't checked to see if they get whited out when at a distance, as it was made most apparent by the torches. I don't know how I feel about the new Nether-brick textures. They're a bit too dark and kinda blend in with the hotbar. I'm sure I'll get used to them, but they could use some more saturation.
That's odd, I think I may have a fix. It looks similar to the problem with spider and ender eyes. Try replacing your torch with this one, it will either fix it, or make the problem a lot worse! If it doesn't work then I don't know how to fix it, but they look fine with MCPatcher with either version.
I would be happy to make a menu panorama unless Quehem wants to do one himself. I have made a few for other packs and It shouldn't be too much trouble. The only advice I have is to avoid dark scenes, because they look weird with the white gradient that the game puts over the background.
dunnra: Optifine has support for ctm, but it is out of date right now, so I don't think a lot of the newer features will work. I'm sure it will be catch up soon, however.

edit: The torchfix worked for me aswell, cheers! edit #2: The actual concept for the ctm is very nice and unorthodox, just the way I like it. But could you perhaps fix those that don't connect? Here's a picture to let you know what I mean:
Glad the torches work now, I'll be sure to include that in the next update so people don't have to replace the file. As for the glass, I followed the CTM template exactly, I'm not sure if I can do anything to fix that. I'll check over it to see if I made an error though.
