Finally I found this, I was going to revert back to vanilla textures because of the differences between mod graphics and my installed HD texturepack xD
I hope you can add RedPower World addon on your list, it adds some construction and ore blocks to the world, also some items.
Hello again everyone! I'm back after a hiatus that started when I bought the Quakecon pack off Steam. Been playing so many Bethesda games I needed to come back to Minecraft.
Anyway, this means I'll be updating my textures very soon. Currently I'm working on making textures for all of the new content Eloraam has added to her Redpower (already almost finished with World) mod and the Forge (meaning some of these textures will work for IC2). Then I'll move on to Buildcraft 3.0 and some of it's new unofficial addons. Hopefully by that point IC2 will be updated to 1.0.0 and I can start implementing new textures for that as well!
So yesterday was my birthday, and to celebrate I'm going to release a preview for my upcoming Railcraft textures. Currently they're only available in 256x and the entire texture map is far from complete, but it looks awesome so far.
I've been pretty busy with finals last week and haven't had much time for texture making, but now that I'm on a break you should see an update very soon. Also, work on Buildcraft, Redpower (and all its components), BCForestry, & Thaumcraft are coming along nicely and should be the next to get updates (probably in that order, too). Hopefully these textures will hold you off until then.
And without further ado, here is the Railcraft 2.02 preview!
Note (PLEASE READ): I used the rail textures from THIS THREAD as the base for all the textures in this pack. If you want your Railcraft pieces to match up with your default ones, you'll have to install the textures in that thread into your own texture pack.
And yes, that is a basalt volcano from Redpower World.
yes Yes YES! I just found this thread.
If you ever get a chance I would be very appreciative if you would consider doing Pchan3's steampunk airship here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/164940-100pchan3s-mods-airship-sky-pirates-steamboat/ and it'll be my bday on the 26th. It would totally be the best present. Tho I'm not actually expecting it by then lol, or necessarily expecting that you'll do it lol. woooo, I've been awake for too long. I'm getting kinda loopy. Anywho, happy belated birthday to you too, and hope things are going well with you and you gf being moved in together. I'm gonna go cook dead things now.
Hey, I know you said you were gonna take your time and to some nice textures for mo'creatures, and I've seen a few people requesting it.
Anywho, I randomly stumbled upon this today
I'm not really a fan of the look they're going for here, but I just thought you might be interested in checking it out, maybe collaborate with 'em, or whatever?
well this is kinda nice however to me it just looks like you took screenshots/pictures, cropped, and pasted them into the texture pack spacing.
I don't think I will be downloading this since I want texture packs that are HD but still have the mine craft feel.
Hmm. Just downloaded the textures for Buildcraft and RedPower. They look very nice, but I think the layout may be out of date as the gears are in a single .png now.
Also, would you be able to do the rest of the textures? The engines for example. Thanks!
EDIT: Ah... And pumps, waterproof pipes, etc. They are interesting when they're invisible.
I failed at step one: I can't find RedpowerWiring.zip in my .minecraft/mods folder... I installed redpower right, and it works flawless.
Redpower and Buildcraft still haven't been updated for their MC 1.0.0 counterparts. I am working on updating both of these in an attempt to release them at the same time. There is a lot of new stuff, especially in Redpower, that needs texturing, and creating 256x textures is indeed a timely process.
You can install the current textures over your current installations, though some blocks will appear pink/invisible. The redpower download in this thread is currently only for the Redpower Wiring addon, as it was made when that was the only feature in the mod.
theres all these links and i dont know witch one to click on just for the regular texture pack
There is no "regular" texture pack. These are HD Textures for mods that you may or may not have installed. Obviously not for everyone, but it fills a niche that just wasn't there before.
Actually it's a custom mix of LB's Photorealism & RPG, with a little mix of the discontinued Nature's Lust pack. I was thinking about releasing it alongside the Redpower update so the new ores match the stone texture I use. Only problem is, with Natures Lust discontinued I'll have to slightly modify the pack if I can't get Aageon's permission.
Wow, these are some nice high-def textures; especially liking the buildcraft pipes.
Any chance of adding BTW to your to-do list? I know that the list isn't exactly a short one atm, but it's been lacking decent 64x or higher textures for a long time now. I don't doubt it'd look amazing if it were done in the same style as what I've seen of your work so far :smile.gif:
I was working on updating Psientist's 256x texture pack for BTW. But, FlowerChild dropped forge, so I dropped FlowerChild. If anything, it's at the very bottom of my list for the moment. Sorry.
And although I don't like to commit to dates, I can see the Redpower/BC update coming within the next couple weeks. All dependent on how much time I can spare.
I hope you can add RedPower World addon on your list, it adds some construction and ore blocks to the world, also some items.
Thank you for your hard work :biggrin.gif:

There isn't a "regular" texture pack for the Minecraft textures in this thread. These are all for other mods.
As far as I recall they've been made to look good with Misa's texture pack.

I think it's LB Photo Realism actually.
Makes sense :smile.gif: I just remember finding it searching for Misa a long long time ago.
How did you install redpower? In to the mods folder? If so the zip for the latest version is called: RedPowerWiring-2.0pr4b.zip
If you installed it in your minecraft.jar you'd have to open the minecraft.jar and put the texture files in there.

It means the textures in this thread aren't updated to the MC1.0 versions of the mods they're from.
