It seems they are wrong uploaded files, download the 128X but it says the file contains textures pack of 256x
Well, some files in the 128x and 64x versions are from the 256x version (some mobs for example), while some in the 256x have only a resolution of 128x or even 64x (particles and such). I haven't resized them because you'd barely see any difference. But the most important (and most resource-demanding) file, terrain.png, always has the correct resolution.
If you're talking about the Pack thumbnail in the texture packs menu ... well I somehow uploaded the one with 256 on it with every pack. EDIT: Fixed.
Nice Pack! Do you think you could add a version with alpha cobble, alpha bricks, alpha gravel, and alpha moss stone, re-textured to 256X256? Cause I like those blocks better than the new ones. I have the terrain file if you need it. Here is what i put together: http://www.mediafire.com/?5b8j1qt3zyjxw6q

this is my first texture pack. It's the Vanilla texture pack resized to 256x with bumpmaps, and a few filters. When you're far away you'll barely see any difference from the Default textures but if you're closeup, you'll notice that they have much more detail than the standard textures.
It retextures everything and is frequently updated.
There also are 64x and 128x versions of the pack, those are based upon the 256x version and are downscaled, using different filters to keep the textures sharp. Of course they are nowhere near as detailed as the 256x version.

Wow never seen anything like it... I really love how it looks like it was dawn on paper!
I installed it correctly into the textures and everything but minecraft just crashed. The i tried opening minecraft again and my comptuer got the lag spike of death. I had Optifine B smooth installed.
Yep... Same here... My game looks like this when opened with the texture pack:
But... All the blocks seem OK, it is just the items that are shown like that...
I have patched my game with optifine
Cheers
Well, I patched mine with MCPatcher but also tried it with OptiFine. I can't see any bugs like this, no matter what resolution I use.
I had some problems with resizing the Iron Golem but the newest version has a more noisy than "HD" version of it. It works for me if it doesn't do for you, you might want to delete the 'mobs/villager_golem.png' file in the texture pack's zip file.

zwei fragen..
LG CREEPAH
1) Klar. Kannst es meinetwegen auch gerne online stellen.
Sorry for my bad english
