Well I have exams in a couple of weeks so I've only been on the computer twice this week, but yes, it will be done around the time minecraft is officially done! (My exams are done by then and it will be 12 weeks of holidays for me.... Plenty of time! :biggrin.gif:)

Yeah, thanks for making this awesome pack. I'll post some pictures of my Castle here soon, it's about halfway done I think (which is funny because the castle and walls are finished, on to the town ;_:wink.gif:.
before ?I say this, I'm trying to be as gentle as possible. I love this TP, and when I cleaned my folder out, the only 3 I kept were this, Sphax(that one with the BD and the cartoon and stuff) and corocraft.
1.sugar cane: it's a little green. consider making it a little skinnier and lighter, I thing with the current way the rest of the texture pack looks, this will be bambooier.
2.redstone: torches and repeaters are fugly. I have no suggestions, other that it looks weird having lamps moving around halfway through the map.
Would it make anyone happy if I were to make an attempt at updating this?
(1.8 adds a lot, so it would still take a while. I would also need to do the 1.7 textures)

You and whoever liked that comment are both total idiots. Look at the f*cking comments! He is working on updating EVERYTHING! He said (i believe, soz if i'm wrong) that he is doing everything in the pack before the next update. I'm suprised you saw the keyboard to type your own bloody comment.

I was wanting to do an eastern-themed texture pack as well. Encountered a problem and came to the forums to find out how to resolve it, would you mind passing some advice onto a complete beginner?
I had wanted to do Cherry Blossom trees as well (after all, what tree is more appropriate? :smile.gif:. Before I got into actually making the texture pack, I tried one tiny change to see if I had the system down right in my head.
I took the Wool texture from one texture pack and copied it in GIMP. I then used GIMP to paste the wool texture over it's counterpart in another (effectively creating a remix). I then saved the remix, loaded it into Minecraft, and created a new world on Creative mode to check.
I placed wool blocks, low and behold it works!!!! Then I turned around and saw a swamp biome. Oh, shoot... the grass, leaves, and vines are all grey!
I checked the unedited texture pack. When I reloaded, the biome was properly colored. So something I did to the remix had to have disrupted something somewhere. But all I did was "Paste into Selection" in GIMP the tiny section of the terrain.png.
Its months he keep saying it...at 1.6 he say I update and didnt do it, and so on...and don't call people idiots, kid. Manner up.
I don't expect him to do anything, just not to lie.
I would quote my entire other post. But its not worth it. XXSheep is currently working on 6 packs! Sadly, this pack is at the bottom of the pile but he is slowly doing every single texture before the release. I was simply trying to say that you should AT LEAST look at the last page before posting a comment like that. Same with crossing a road. Look before you post.

Hello Sheep, how are you doing. This pack is progressing well.
You know what I want to see something? A pack that uses the art style of Japan on everything. Kind of like a mesh of my pack and yours or something. This would work exceptionally well because they painted so many landscapes.
