Works for me on DokuCraft I just followed the instructions exactly, which are laid out nicely. I think the problem others are having are conflicts with other mods or not using the correct folders. As a reminder, you don't unzip anything, you move the whole zip'ed file over to the the texturepack folder after you've installed the HDpatcher.
Hello, I have a problem. When I have patch the game I go into the game and then 'Mods and Texture packs' then when I press my texture pack nothing happens..HELP!! And also I've tried the older version but the redstone and the new saplings are just a grey flat thingy ! Help plz !!
make sure it isn't zipped into a folder. 99% of the time that's the problem with them not working from menu
Um, I may sound like a total noob here...But I can't just "Double Click" the file and have it install. It asks me which program to use to open it. I did some digging, and I've tried using the "javaw.exe" file, and it gives me this error:
"Could not find the main class. Program will exit"
Am I missing something? Is my computer just supposed to automatically recognize these files? I have the latest version of Java and everything...I really want to get the latest version so I don't have to keep patching.

Are you getting the message, when you start up, that you need a clean .jar?
If so, that's your problem. Re-download a fresh .jar and try again. You have to do the mcpatcher before you add mods.

No, I've never used any mods with Minecraft and just got 1.5. I really don't understand why my computer isn't openning .jar files.
Well this is odd. For some reason Its only letting me use default water in the "test" option of MC patcher. When I play the actual game it uses my texture pack's water. Which I don't like.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Solved by using the old patcher which is still working. :smile.gif:
Not a big deal in the first place. I just like my water nice and blue :smile.gif:
you only have to click patch..it selects everything for you

*sigh* Yes. I just said I have the latest version of Java and everything. Maybe its getting corrupt or something, but Java stuff works just fine.
