First I want to say this is a 'very' nice looking texture pack, I absolutely love the wood and wool textures they look great~ The only thing that bugged me, and it 'really' did bug me was the signs. When your sign borders are so thick that is severely limits how much you can write on a sign, and it's not all that much to start with, it really limits the amount of information you can give out when designing adventure maps. Just something to think about but seriously, it is a very nice looking texture pack I can see you've worked hard on it.
@ThePaleRecluse: I'm personally not fond of Ad.Fly. Although it won't stop me from downloading a pack, I find it a bit annoying to be honest.
@doctorjackal777: The only solution is to take out the border althogether, which I rather not do. You're not the first to bring it up though, so I guess I'll have to do an alt at some point. That said, I do want to finish all the mob skins before I start looking into doing alts.

Ahhh. Well, I understand. Just letting you know you deserve some kind of income for this pack. It's great. ^^;
Can't wait to see your take on the screenshot items. I suppose I can wait until the release, but my world just looks so blasé without this texture pack, and unfortunately, it's situated next to a lovely jungle, so all I see are gray sticks and green blobs when using it. :[
that's awesome :biggrin.gif:
but it is a bit weird that a few mobs have default skin and some not q:
Yeah, I totally agree! The default mobs didn't bother me much before, until I added my own first mob. :laugh.gif:
Unfortunately, it's just a slow process. It takes me about 16 hours to make just one mob skin at this level of detail. So, you're just going to have to put up with me while I slowly crunch my way through the whole character cast. :tongue.gif:

This pack has been my favorite for many months now, but for what it's worth, I agree with what doctorjackal777 said. It just seems inefficient being unable to use the entire sign!
Another thing is that I play on a multiplayer server with some friends who don't use your pack, so even if I limit my own signs to using the middle two lines of text, I'm still going to keep running across others' signs that are obstructed by that top border. So I would very much like to see the sign texture changed, and I don't think it would look bad without any border on the front (the edges can stay dark, of course).
I think the custom sky and fog colors especially make a big difference in atmosphere. It really helps enhance the feel of the biomes! I'm really happy about these new additions to McPatcher. :smile.gif:
It's mainly ones with low contrast, such as the dirt, grass, netherack, etc. that I don't like, as they look kind of blurry and whatnot.
Thanks for the feedback!
With the textures you mentioned, as well as a few others, such as stone, cobble and snow, I tried to keep the contrast more subdued, because they have to tile across massive flat areas. I found it tricky to strike a balance between having nice shading, but also reducing visual noise and repetitive patterns. Perhaps I missed the mark a little.
I will look into fixing older stuff and making alts when I have the mobs out of the way. First and foremost, I want to get rid of default stuff. After that, I can look into making things more polished. :tongue.gif:
This is a great looking pack, Wayuki! I had downloaded it a while back but I was using 64x packs at the time. Now I'm playing at the default resolution and I'm always impressed when I see someone who can make 16x look like HD. You and XSSheep are two of the best at that! Well done!

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
@MrMCKMan: I'm using 3ds Max. You can't actually import mobs into 3ds Max, though. I actually had to rebuilt the shapes using screenshots and the texture dimensions as my guidelines.
@Leostereo: Oh noes! I didn't think the dirt was that crappy! :laugh.gif:

I'm working on the jungle stuff! And custom biome coloring! And Custom Color support!
So next update is going to look much more atmospheric... Pictures coming soon! :tongue.gif:

Only one! It's my personal skin, hehe. I made it well before starting my texture pack, hence the default logs in this image.
The default dude in my pack is an HD version of this old skin.
Those leaves look phenomenal (tricky word :tongue.gif:) and it's a great choice of fog colours, etc. too!
Can't wait to swing on some vines with my kitty cats!

Other than that, great pack!
