for some reason I can't get it to work. I can open only one image and I can't copy things and paste them elsewhere the way you said to. >.< I don't know what to do.
Keep in mind: you can only copy from LEFT to RIGHt RIGHT to LEFT image, not vise versa.
Load some images in the right list, doubeclick on a list entry to see it in the sourceview(right view). Selecting a tile on the right and clikcing into the left view should copy the tiles.
MAybe you can give me some more details about your steps? No user had problems with the basics so far, so i have no clue whats going on there o.O
im getting a problem trying to add a png picture [its a screenshot from game] to load on the right side so i can add it to a art block?
im getting this error
texture size is not power of 2 {like 128, 256, 512]
what does this mean, and how can i fix this. i dont know what it is referring to, pls help.
@Watcher: the texture cnot be loaded, cause its SIze(Pixel*Pixel) is not a power of 2. Means:
your pixelsize needs to be 2^x(later version will resize if needed). while its possible to have 128*64(2^7*2^6), its not possible to have a size of 127, cause its not a power of 2. So for a simple check, try to divide each size of your image by 2. If its not possible, resize it.
@Happy: Not shure what you mean exactly. But just load the source tilesets on the right, and put your needed tiles to the left. Into a new or an existing tileset.
PS: as soon as i fix this #*#*#**#*# CRASHING bug here with my editor, i'll release an update with a tutorial v ideo. Pray to god i find this damn bug >.< (yes, just hunting this one the last past weeks)

Big vote of thank you on this. I was getting tired of manually swapping tiles. This should make my life a lot easier.
Quick edit noticed a few issues.
1). It was suggested since there is no maximize to zoom out to see more of the larger texture packs. There is a problem with this, it draws a grid which progressively makes each tile darker and blurrier the more you zoom out. This is even with the Grid turned off.
2). If you have zoomed out (-) or zoomed in (+) an image on either the left or right and then load a new image in the same spot, it will still say the old zoom level (ex 0.8 or 1.4) even though it has reset to 1.0. It will correctly update the label if you zoom in or out on the new image.
3). I believe this is what Newe6000 was talking about regarding tiles with transparency. Odd shapes, colors, imagery such as seen in the third screenshot.
Sample image of a few zoom levels and above 3 issues (for convenience and comparison same terrain image was used on both left and right).
Edit: FYI, texture pack used below was LB Photo Realism x256 5.0.4 although the issues were tested and reproduced using multiple 256x packs.
The grid you see is created by the cheap Stretch algorythm delphi uses(by using the Windows api) and does not affect the saved picture.
Resetting doesnt work? mh ok i'll look at the zoom reset
Od shapes? yep, but they are fixed at my local version for a very long time. (alpha channel is not rendered correctly on this version here, thats why you cann see hidden things).
Local version in fact is messed up. While trying to implement the basic image editor, i messed alot of those things up.
I think, i'll throw it out(the image editor), fix current issues for the previews and release this, as iam currently to busy to rewrite all the stuff.
Whenever I try putting in a terrain file or an items file it won't use it unless I put in the default minecraft files. Whenever I try putting in any files besides default, it gives me a Swedish error page

I would give it a download, but its not for mac, and i'm bad at Wine...
Maybe compiling it into a jar file would be better.
Otters are fantastic
