is there a way to donate for this awsome pack (and investments in hope you get motivated to make a 32x32 or 64x64 pack) my 500+ FPS makes me think i can handle a bit higher resolution ;p
absolutly love the textures thank you for making these
Just a question : i saved the smp world where i've played during a few weeks and I install it like a save world for solo mode. When I play there, the green of grass and trees seems sligthly different from the one I've got on multiplayer. Why's that ? I even tried to repatch the Minecraft.jar without success.
I love Jolicraft.
It is without a doubt the best texture pack I've ever used. I've tried many, but was never really satisfied. 32x32 and up were never really very appealing to me, and I could never find a really good 16x16. Then I saw Jolicraft on the Yogscast and have been using it ever since :smile.gif: Keep up the great work.
Jolicraft 2 was good too though.

Does anyone know of a good way to switch to alternate textures? I tried to select just the texture to move it, but i always get little bits of stuff around the edges
I love love love this texture pack, but I don't use it. I like verything about it except the inventory screen, it's too bright. The white "shiny" fogginess in it really make me feel like I'm being blinded every time I open my inventory. If you had an alternative inventory option, I would love this pack even more, and actually use it.
Oh awesome, alternate cobblestone. I was never too big a fan of the regular cobblestone in this pack. I'd download if you include an alternate creeper to look more like the original, and an alternate pig to not be muddy.
Hey all you joli folks. When making a town, house or base pretty, you don't always want to use torches. I mean, come on? What are we, cavemen. Plus, torches are a fire hazard. "Oh noez! Little jimmy burnt his head off!!!!!1!one!1"
That's where glowstone comes in. However, if you know anything about lightstone, you know that it's very roflz. That's why I set out to obtain an alternative to this ugliness. So I ventured over the precarious mountains, through the creeper filled caves, and the mysterious ruins of herobrine to capture a magical fairy that glows brightly. After some mass breeding, I captured these ******* fairies into glass containers, which looked nice with the other things in the jolicraft world. The end result is this EDIT:You can see it ingame with video.
A fairy in a glass container. Now you can light your homes up with fairy cruelty!!!
Just download the file, Open it in any image editor but paint, along with your terrain.png, copy the fairy in a glass, and paste it on top of the glowstone. Now just save the terrain.png, and put it into your jolicraft.zip.
And yes, This is a giant wall of text for such a tiny thing. blame bordom.
I really want to use this pack, but after selecting the pack in the texture pack menu and enter my save it is just a black screen. the main menus change to the jolicraft pack but as soon as i enter the game I just get black screen.
after exiting the game completely and restarting, i log in and it doesnt even show the mojang logo. just black screen again.
EDIT: nevermind! I still had parts of an old texture pack installed. Took it out and your pack works great now!
thanks!
Quick question - in particles.png, what are the two bottom water-drop looking thingys? I can't figure out what they're for... Anyone?
They might be hearts. That's the only new particle I can think of, and they don't seem to be there.
Also, any input in the lightstone?
EDIT: I hope you don't mind me posting these little alternates. Diversity is key, though.
These are stone bricks for anyone who doesn't like the checkers or cobbly cobblestone.
The colors and shading are based off of the cobbly cobblestone and mossy checkered.
Again, Input?
EDIT: Just noticed, the droplets come from the wolf when he shakes off!

I don't think they are officially in use so there is no need to update it at this point in time. The only new particle in use (now) is the heart particle. Am I right in thinking the new update is around the corner? :smile.gif:
Lilyo: It is not the water the wolves shake off otherwise it wouldn't work with Jolicraft 2.6 as it is missing in that version.

Jolicraft doesn't have the new heart either... So tell me, where is the water the wolf shakes off if it isn't those. It's not the splash or bubble particles.

I know Jolicraft is missing the heart particle - I am the one that first asked about it to Jolicoeur. The wolf uses the splash particles. The same ones that are used by the boat when it is moving etc. My point was if it didn't use the old water/splash particles then when the wolves shook off water currently in Jolicraft 2.6 you would see nothing.
Ever since I downloaded this, I've been hooked! It injects a very healthy and much needed dose of whimsy in to the visuals of the game. :smile.gif: Keep up the good work!

You may know more, but that's only because I don't know enough to know what I don't know.

Or just replace the skin with one from a different pack.

Isn't it the water that the wolf shakes off?
