Oh my GAWD those mods are sweet. That's exactly my problem, there's so much great stuff out there and I have so little time to experience it all. I'll definitely put both mods on my 'to try' list.
I'd love to put more mod support on the customizer. Making textures is the easy part, it's organizing them and updating them that's tricky. I think I need a personal assistant. Maybe I'll start accepting applications.
I'd do it as long as I don't have to wear a dress or heels...

Happiness is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth.
Andre, you didn't change your mind about a higher res texture pack ? 32p, 64p, or 128p ? Imagine what you could make on a bigger "canvas". (It would be a great alternative to Sphax Burebdcraft !) You could really show your full talent on it.
Sorry but I had to ask.
Can't wait for more jolicraft stuffs! I'm most excited about mod support. For the longest time I've only been using vanilla minecraft and some non game changing mods. But recently I've had an urge to get some game changing mods, only problem is not having joli support!
Hey recently downloaded this texture pack. I LOVE this texture pack...except the water doesn't come up the way it does on the gallery shots. Any way to fix this? :/

I still have a great time working on Jolicraft. I do more Jolicraft than actually playing minecraft, which is a shame. It's also a shame I don't have MORE time to spend on it. I do what I can, but when crunch time hits Jolicraft ends up being put on the backburner. I'd love to have like a week where I did nothing but Minecraft and Jolicraft. You know, give the site and forum post some love, make some new graphics, tons of alts, get the customizer nice & current and proper, etc. As it is right now I can just barely keep up with the new changes. But hopefully relief is on the way. This summer I should have a bit more free time, so here's hoping that I do and can spend some quality time with Jolicraft.
Speaking of Minecraft in general, I'm picking up the 360 version on Wednesday. Looking forward to playing some splitscreen with the Mrs. Anyone else gonna be doing some wood punching on their 360 on Wed? Apparetly they're adding texture pack support too, which will be cool (oh good, more work! ).

I haven't played much Minecraft in a while, but just got done updating everything. Is it me or did the foliage get a more brown tint to it? I've been using the subtle grass, for a while, it just feels a bit dark (brown) to me at stock, but the foliage seems darker than before, but what do I know =P. You know, I love the graphics for the customizer. Such light and playful colors, it's in pretty stark contrast to the actual texture pack I'd say heh. Then again, I have been using Sphax off and on, the lighter tones are definitely pleasant, though it lacks some polish ;-). Oh, and I again voice my excitement for what you'd be able to accomplish on maybe 32px heh.
I love me some color. The new sky colors however seem a bit strong, too saturated maybe, I've lightened them up a tad myself though.
It's great to see new alternates however! My more obvious request would be a piston that matches the alternate stoves/dispensers.
Edit: Well I fixed the pine leaves looking too brown to me haha. I think I realized that the color is based on the grass color (as opposed to solely on the color set by the foliage png), so I fixed it by actually reverting to your foliage color png. Then again I may be confused from messing with all the files hah.
Could you kindly give a look at my suggestion? http://www.minecraft...cks-adds-more-v (also in my signature)
It is strongly related to texture packs and it received a fair amount of support so far. I'd like your opinion and most of all I'd like you to try it with yours texture pack. If that suggestion will ever be fulfilled, I think that it would be an awesome addition to your fantastic world of jolicraft.

I love the idea. I'm not supporting any mods until I have some free time this summer, but I'd definitely consider giving that one a go.
Also, with this update I've decided to have a single download link (for each version). This download link with be consistent and permanent. So from now on when you download Jolicraft you won't get jolicraft_x.x.zip, you'll just get jolicraft.zip. I plan on keeping my zips updated and will always post a news item on jolicraft.com to let you know of any updates. I'm doing this because it's a pain to update my download links every time I update Jolicraft. This way I can keep my zips up to date and not have to worry about replacing download links. Cool? COOL!

Use MCPatcher or Optifine.

Maybe I need to come up with something fun to do then huh? Haven't had a contest in a while... Hmm.
