Sc has been updated after half a year??? Changes include:
Everything broke and was no longer transparent, except for the sides of grass blocks
But now, the following are transparent again:
All leaves
All logs, as long as they're vertical, the way most of them spawn in trees
Andesite
Diorite
Dirt
Granite
Grass, when viewed from any side
Grass with a snow tile on top of it
Gravel
Sand
Snow blocks
Snow tiles
-----
The following blocks are now visible even if they're surrounded by solid blocks on all side - for example, if they're completely embedded in stone:
Diamond ore
I understand that this pack is now being held together by scotch tape, magic, echonite's ingenuity and my tears. However, I'm about to start working 50+ hour weeks. Hindsight edit: as it turns out, 65 hour weeks! It's been a good 4+ year run, but I no longer have the time or motivation to continue pumping out adequate quality updates at an acceptable pace. Expect future updates to be few and far between, and thanks for all your support over the years.
Hi, i wanted to report a video that gives your texture pack without giving you credit (im passing through your adf.ly links btw) (and dont worry, he doesnt monetize it) (except for the adsense)
llasiguri - Thanks! I appreciate the heads-up, but from what I saw, I don't think he did anything wrong. If he wants to rename my resource pack "X-Ray Texture Pack", advertise it like that in his video and share it with people, I'm cool with that.
Diamondpigs999 - Thanks for the kind words and I hope it helps! And on that note, does anyone know of an anti-x-ray mod or plugin that works on non-Forge servers?
- Made 10 more sections of doors partially transparent
- Made 16 more sections of plants more transparent than they were before (tall grass, ferns and dead bushes in TFC and other mods which use those items are also affected by this)
- Made acacia, birch, dark oak, jungle, oak and spruce planks transparent
- Made all 16 colors of wool transparent
- Made bricks, coarse dirt, netherrack, obsidian, red sand and stone bricks transparent
- Made diamond ore, emerald ore, mob spawners, mossy cobblestone, mossy cobblestone walls, quartz ore and TNT flash again, making them easier to spot from a distance
- Made emerald ore and quartz ore visible even when they're surrounded by netherrack or stone on all sides, just like diamond ore
- Made sideways acacia, birch, dark oak, jungle, oak and spruce logs transparent
- Made sugar cane less transparent (this also affects TFC and other mods which use default sugar cane items)
- Returned 2D cloud, 3D cloud, falling rain and falling snow effects to normal (for SC)
- Returned 9 of the stages of growth of carrots, nether wart and potatoes to normal (for SC)
- Returned all rail, all redstone dust, both redstone repeater, brown mushroom, cobblestone, dead bush, fern, forward-facing dispenser, portal, red mushroom, tall grass and web textures to normal (for SC)
- Returned the block and item destruction animation to normal (for SC)
- Returned the sun and moon compasses to normal
- Solved the yeti's riddle
