Just a heads up scuttles the reason why minecraft enhanced never got better glass was because those mods have a dealbreaker, you cannot see clouds through them
Huge glaring issue that me and a lot of others can't get over, I made nice awesome windows for my set a while back and again tried them and sure enough, no clouds, I'm working with a mod developer on a fix for it we'll see what happens.
just letting you know about it, before people start telling you, your stuffs broken :smile.gif:
and the bloom effect imo is a better effect than the depth of field you might be able to get that working on your ati, on the subject of GLSL
Thanks for the info. I haven't noticed that the clouds disappeared through the glass. In my opinion, it's not really a huge deal, but I do have 2 different download options for people who prefer to do without it.
Keep me posted and that glass mod update, I'd appreciate it.
Absolutely stunning! Hopefully he fixes that ATI issue so I can enjoy that blur effect as well.
Heh, I feel sort of like Elliot from E.T. .... I'm sure he will get ATI cards working in no time... Here is another pic!
Sorry about all the flower closeups...

Feel free to use anything I put on here, the order, the photos & anything else... I didn't write the mods, I just troubleshooted them. It more yours than mine. Knock yourself out.
Wow, i really like your textures.
One thing though, the stone textures seem dark, building houses with it makes them look wierd for me.
Is there a chance that you might add a lighter alternative texture for it sometime? =)
Perhaps. What stones are you thinking are still too dark? Smoothstone, slabs, cobblestone, etc

Ah sorry, forgot to specify.=)
The smoothstone, cobblestone and slabs look perfect. ^^
Alright, I'll start working on a lighter smoothstone. Homework will bog me down for a few hours, though. Procrastinating was one of my specialties. =D

maybe you need to adjust your gamma/contrast/brightness settings? I mean, if you just blast the gamma all the way, you don't even need torches... Follow this guide and you'll end up with a slightly too dark picture, for minecraft at least...
Probably my end, but I get an error "Problem extracting terrain.png" or somesuch. I've downloaded twice, and rebooted to no avail. Extracting it manually, and it looks ok, but for some corruption in the bottom right around the top left-most lava block.
64bit java, w7x64. No other packs have an issue, and I've used a couple of dozen.

I'll get back to this later.
I'm not quite sure what the problem might be. I just checked the download and even installed using the downloaded version which ran perfectly. Have you ran the appropriate texture patcher for hd packs and what, if any, other mods are you running?
1. I can't see water when it's behind glass in the better glass version, it's just invisible.
2. The non better glass download link doesn't work.
Thank you for the info on the non better glass. I realize the glass doesn't show things through it which is why I posted both. I'll get the non better glass working in a second.
EDIT:
Got it up and running. Please check to see if that one works.
From the pictures, your texture pack looks amazing. However, I can't make it work :S This is my very first mod/texture pack ever, and that could be the issue: I really don't understand what I need to do with the different patchers, how they work. And I don't know how to browse and put files in the minecraft.jar folder.
I know I ask a lot, but could you please write a step by step instruction? Please?
Btw, I'm using a mac. This is why I can't use WinRar ( And it's the only .jar opening software I was able to find ( and it's Windows only :sleep.gif: ))

If I were to put it simply in folder format would that work for you? I don't have a Mac so assistance would be greatful
What do you mean folder format? Because I can extract the .Rar file. The problem I have is with the . Jar one... Can you share your minecraft.jar file with the mod already patched/installed ? Is it possible?

I could do that for you, but I'm trying to figure a way to solve the problem with the rest of mac users. If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it.
As for my problem, it is mainly about finding a software/way to edit the .jar files. And I'm pretty sure someone on this forum knows how, since I'm certainly not the only Mac Minecraft player modding his game :tongue.gif:

just jack up the gamma until you are happy... In your gpu software (after you perfect your monitors settings)

i think lol Hopefully Notch fixes it
This texture pack is amazing thanks a ton.
Not a problem, atleast for me. I rarely use the glass for anything other than windows.
No problem. Glad I can help
