It's a shame optifine doesn't work with GLSL Shaders. 512x with bumpmapping will bring many people's computers to its knees even high-end computers.
not my computer. :tongue.gif: but actually i prefer optifine's mipmaping to gsgl shaders. but once its released i'll have to try shaders with bumpmaping and speculars for this pack

For some reason mipmapping cripples my computer, yet bumpmapping works flawlessly...
Scuttles, is there any planned Connected Textures Mod support, for either texture pack? :ohmy.gif:
No. But I'll try if I get the template for that mod. :biggrin.gif:
I suck ass at Making new Textures, But I'm beast at editing.
EDIT----
Just downloaded x256 LB PR... I found an error already. :biggrin.gif:
The pack.txt is ****ed up, The version of the pack is 6.2.0
The pack.txt says 6.1.0
I love correcting Scuttles :biggrin.gif:
Well, I'm sure Scuttles will thank you for that, aageon.
By the way - aageon, I love your work :biggrin.gif:
Now, Back to business - I'm about 50% done with the support on the mod, Tavidatum.
Comparisons between 50% done 256x and pre-made Default textures..
LB PR:
Default Mod Texture:

I've got to sleep, But I'll definitely continue later today.
60% Done.
yea mipmaping isn't very optimized. i barley get 60fps everything on max and mipmaping on 4x with x512 i get 100+ without mipmaping.
I can max everything, but the moment I touch mipmaping it runs down around 20fps (if i remember correctly). But not having that doesn't really bother me anyways :tongue.gif:

Excellent. Once it's finished I'd gladly add it to the main page.
License ref #1650 for the OW #19693 (gold_1.png) granted to Scuttles
Scuttles may edit and use artwork out of this file and all other armor related files.

My desktop computer is the same way. I get way more frames running the GLSL with bumpmapping than the optifine with mipmapping. =S
It may be because it's not rendering the bumpmapping proper, lol
The java fix does not help at all. I downloaded the JDK 7 this time, x64, set it to 2048, and it can't load the 512x at all, and the 256x doesn't load easily.
8 GB 1600 DDR3 Memory, GTX 470 NVIDIA, and Phenom II X6 @ 3.3 GHz.
I even tried 6 GB in the Patcher options, no luck either.

It's been posted in this forum multiple times, I even think it is in one of the last 5 pages. Using the guide on the front page won't help, and neither will MCPatcher. You have to use a batch file.
It is under Linux/Other
You make the batch file:
java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -cp Minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
Save the executable jar file under the Linux/Other
Make sure you save these two files into the same folder.
Run the batch file.
Dangit. Thanks. No wonder there weren't any instructions. :\
It's still an unbelievably awesome texture pack, regardless. This doesn't damper my experience.
Yea, it really is a shame that the two don't work. =(
you can always ignore the graininess ^^ The wildgrass makes up for it in my opinion haha

Wait, what? I've been using Optifine with WildGrass for quite a long time now... I never experienced any incompatibilities...

That's pretty true. Unfortunately, the grain in the x512 is simply astounding. I would rather have a nice mipmapping along with wildgrass. =D
Excellent. Once it's finished I'd gladly add it to the main page.
Alright, thanks Aageon. I'll add those to the main page. I'm still not very knowledgeable in this license dilemma so I really appreciate this help.
Strange... What order did you install them in?
Should. ^^
Thanks mate. I really appreciate you trying it.

I'm 99% sure I installed wildGrass before Optifine, since Optifine I found out about much later.
Nice. =)
What resolution were those taken on?
I'll have to give that a try for when I get around to the wildgrass on the RPG pack.
Unfortunately, there's not much I can fix to help that issue. =(
