You could make a .bat (Batch file, CMD File, Runs in prompt/executes command)
And allocate more that way :/
hmm so would it be something like "java -Xmx3072M -jar Minecraft.jar" in the batch file? But then the minecraft launcher wouldn't use that batch file would it?

Somewhat, And no :/
PhantomGamers has a way of opening it with allocating more memory, Perfectly, He showed me on skype a few weeks ago... I'll try and contact him about it, if he isn't already checking MinecraftForums

I run windows 7 64bit and use the 64bit version of java to launch minecraft via a .bat file I created with one line of code:
javaw -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -cp Minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
Of course, I had to dl the Linux / Other Minecraft.jar, which is an executable jar file, and place it along with my .bat file in the .minecraft folder.
I downloaded the 512x Version to give it a try but there are only 8 folders in :huh.gif:
Do I have to place them into another LB Photo Realism Pack?
Exactly. Just make a copy of the 256x version and rename it. Then drag and drop the files from the 512x version into your newly named version and replace.
Somewhat, And no :/

Alright thanks a ton for the help, let me know what PhantomGamers says

Update: Well that seems to have done the trick! It's working flawlessly with 3GB allocated. Thanks for the advice meupatdoes, and again thanks for the help Pazaz!
And Scuttles, now that I've seen them, I do think that the diamond blocks have a washed out feel to their color, as someone mentioned previously. Otherwise, its great!
And a note on these files....you do need the GLSL mod, and getting this to work is MORE difficult then just getting a texturepack to work, be warned. Do some research before posting a IT DUN WORK, U BROKE TEH MINECRATF!!? :laugh.gif:
Scuttles must be scared of the spam this will get from people that aren't going to get it to work..take a look at the 512 stuff here =P.
(also, remember people, the 512 is a TEST version. TEST, means it is NOT finished, by far. And the download only has a terrain.png, if you want the water/lava/tools and that stuff you will just have to paste it into a extra lbphotorealism.zip and replace the terrain.png inside it)
:cool.gif: Awesome,
Thanx for your assistance! I tested it and I LOVED it. I'll stick with the 256version for now.
@Scuttles - Awesome work, keep it UP!
Scuttels could you add this to the credits, because I see alot of packs popping up with parts of my artwork that get permission from you to use your pack (as a remix or so).
But they haven't got permission to use the artwork that I let you use.
items.png: armor icons,cart/boat icons, sign.png, cart.png, boat.png, icons.png, alot of parts from the armors.
Not a problem Aageon. I'll remember that next time they ask and I'll update the main page.
I want to know why minecraft can't actually look like this. The camera movement is so smooth in this video and the lighting is very realistic. What exactly is CinemaCraft?
i was wondering if any as has any of the old versions of the x128 or x256 lb photo realism with the circle hot bar gui if so can you give a download link
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
OMG 1.8 is going to be... well there are no words for it but AMAZING
Making high res textures is such a pain, but I'm almost finished with my HD Zelda styled one. I'm here to ask you if you would allow me to use your tree textures and leaves textures, as well as maybe a couple of others. Your work would be credited.
This is the pack that I have been working on if you are curious.
As I read through this thread I'm guessing that you make an effort to respond to questions and issues, so I didn't want to bother you with a pm. That, and I wanted to bump this thread lol. Let me know if I could use those textures.
So if I understood it right I need Java for 64 bit to play with the 128x128 pack or higher.
Do I understood it right ?
In case of the upper terms, is there a solution for a windows 32 bit user ?
Edit1: Okai i tried to change the Java stuff in the Patcher to 2048. And now I havent got the white issue bug. But now the game doesn't run fluently at all. Is it because of my operating system ? I don't think it's because of my hardware.

This made me smile, and then I got sad.
your texture packs rock!!!

Dear god... Front page, stat!
Thank you. =)

There really is no need to download a previous version as the latest version will work with any version of Minecraft.
Thank you. ^^
Seems to be the white block issue. If you haven't installed 64bit Java, do so right now. Try using a lower resolution if all else fails.
