MoonCraft is so Creative and Epic that is a genius Idea. If you focused on that one more then the rest I think you would have a master piece on your hands. Put a Poll up to see peoples favorites
Thanks! Simpletech gets priority because that's the one my wife uses, but Mooncraft is #2 on the list. (It's my highest ranked one on Curse.)
Especially now that we can do animations in 1.5. (I have some plans for that.)

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.
I've updated everything to be compatible with the latest snapshot. Only two packs so far actually have new textures though. (The ones marked as 'working')

Good news everyone! The last crew made it back alive from the future and with their own brains still in their heads this time! They brought with them news of a new Mooncraft for 1.5 and even better, pictures!
Moonbase Sierra One
This isolated lunar base was abandoned when a clerical error resulted in cheese being the only food contained in the ration crates. They may have managed to hold out till the next delivery if it hadn't been for one of the crew's lactose intolerance. Digestive issues and recycled air do not mix.
Moonbase Sierra One (Interior)
Back in the later half of the 22nd century mankind finally solved it's problems with where to dump all the pollution. With it's utter lack of any environment to destroy and an entire hemisphere that no one ever saw, the dark side of the moon rapidly became a massive toxic dumping site. This resulted in enormous pools and rivers of glowing irradiated sludge. Fortunately, modern advances in personal shielding products have now allowed for glowing irradiated sludge to be used for both heating and lighting in current moon bases. Just don't ever take your suit off near it. We are serious about this. No one wants to see another tentacle monster incident.
Random collection of blocks and items.
I think perhaps the radiation poisoning was starting to set in at this point. I can see no other reason why they would arrange this random wall of junk and then take a picture of it. This is the last photo I was able to recover from the camera. Much to my irritation they failed to capture any pictures of the Villagers, Blazes, and robotic cats and dogs that one of the crew was talking about before he passed out. Perhaps a future trip will be more enlightening.

That rambling above means that I've updated Mooncraft for 1.5. The development download link should have the latest version and the Curse one will update whenever it finishes getting approved. This version should still be backwards compatible with 1.4.7 for those of you who don't do the snapshot thing. (Course that means you miss out on the new animated textures such as the pulsating plasma tools.)
Almost all of the creatures in Mooncraft have now been given new textures. Bats and Squid are the only as of yet untouched critters. (Magma slimes are currently just color shifted from the default.) All of the tools have now been animated to pulse with power. (or radiation, or perhaps both) The new Quartz blocks now serve as metal duct work to add charm (and air!) to your massive lunar lairs. Lots of little changes and tweaks here and there as well.
Fixed Mooncraft to be fully compatible with 1.5
(It was missing the .txt files for the animations)
The fix won't show up on Curse for a while though so download it via the dev link if you want it sooner rather than later.
I think the rest should still be compatable as I don't think I've added any animations to them but I'll do a more complete check when I add in the missing textures which will happen in the next day or two (Before 1.5 goes live at any rate.)
All my packs have now been updated for 1.5
Mooncraft and Simpletech make the most use of the new features.
Simpletech got some twinkling ores, gently pulsing redstone blocks and a few other things.
(You already saw mooncraft's stuff earlier in this thread.)
4x4 also makes use of the new features in that some of it's textures are now actually 4x4 pixels. At some point I want to go back and convert as many as I can to the lower resolution. (Some textures won't map right to the models below 16x so I can't make everything 4x4.)
The rest only have static textures without any animations or alternate resolutions.

I've finally found the time to convert my packs to the new format.
Curse isn't updated yet with the new packs so use the development downloads for now.

I discovered that I had mistakenly converted from an older version of the packs. I've re-converted them and they are now all the most recent version. (So no more missing quartz ores)
Still need to do the newest textures such as hay bales, baked clay blocks, and the log ends though.
Also need to figure out what I want to do with all the horses in Mooncraft.

Are you planning to make textures for the items in 4X4?
I hadn't planned on it. It's a little too low res to do items and have them look at all decent.
(Let alone making sure you can actually tell what they are.)
Love it! Mooncraft has always been my favorite, especially as everything requires and shows so much ingenuity, and you've definitely got that in spades. Whatever are you going to do for those horses, though? Whatever it is, I'm hoping it's something humorous too, but not if it's a limiting factor.
Now I've got something else to check out on my sabbatical.
Especially now that we can do animations in 1.5. (I have some plans for that.)
Glowing weapons and tools!
Terminals with scrolling text!
Clocks that tell time!
Improved navigation devices!
That is the Carbon dioxide container, I assume. They need that to live on the moon. It's quite brilliant.
I think the moon could do with something more alien for waterSorry, take it back

Nice one, mate.
Happy to hear that!

Cool! Is it uploaded to Curse yet, or should we still use the development downloads?
