In the last 2 years or so (regrettably with a biggg hiatus though) I've been working on a 64X64 pack, loosely based on a 1995 RPG game called Albion. Here are some screen-shots and a couple of videos (the pack is a work in progress, the actual look might change from those)...C:
This pack consists of two different variants, one light and royal, one dark and more sinister. They respectively try to emulate two different places in the game this pack is based on, namely the Khamulon dungeon and the Dji Kantos island of peace. Future updates will try to keep this theme, and also make the two variants more distinct, and more close to the game parts they try to emulate.
Kenget Albion Dark and sinister, this suits survival players more
Kantos Albion
Light and royal, this suits creative players more
All alternate textures are now in a separate zip so that they don't inhibit download times for both packs. If you wish to use them, you can find them here.
I generally tend to support mods that I actually play ingame. If you have one you want to be supported, plz post in the thread and I'll see what I can do...^^
RECOMMENDED MODS More Paintings: See the paintings this texture pack has? Want to use all of them, not just those that the game has as default? Go here then, I know you want to...XD Optifine: Patches the game, introduces mipmapping and gives a lot of buttons to push so that you make your game as streamlined as possible. All HD packs benefit greatly by mipmapping, be sure to use it if you can. Rei's minimap: A great minimap mod, that is alsobeautiful to watch for a change...=D Water Shader (alpha v3): If you want your water to look like this, then go for it. Huge immersion bonus to the game, low calories...
Any and every feedback is vastly appreciated, cheers...feel free to post a comment with suggestions or criticism...^^ Additional Details

usually i hate 64x64 or anything high res in terms of texture packs, but this looks great. the color scheme is really nice, i have never seen albion before to compare but this is really good pack! the textures really work well in this instance, you'res may be the first hi res (over 32) that i may be downloading very nice!
Nice work, but when i read Albion, i had to think about fable.
Hehe, I guess I might get a lot of that...:biggrin.gif:

Thanks spyre, any feedback would be appreciated. This is an early version, there is much more to be done/changed/fixed. If anyone has an idea, or finds a texture lacking, just post here and we will work on it. Also, if anyone wants, post some screenies using the pack, either to show problems or provide feedback. Cheers...^^
Oh, this is very nice. So many good textures now, i dont know what to use :smile.gif:
I try to patch this with the patcher, but it stop at 86% failing to fix mix/dial from 16 to 64. Anyone else have this?

Try to redownload the rar, and patch for 64x. Untick both custom lava and water, it should work fine then...^^
Same here, I am not usually into realistic Texture packs for Minecraft, but I really like the looks of this one so far. But for some reason I can't get it to work, and I have put many texture packs in before. Hopefully I can get it viewing, even though my Minecraft is not worth playing since the last update, but I will keep an eye on your pack. Excellent job so far.
Wow. I'm fairly jaded on 90% of the texture packs, but this has really impressed me! Maybe I'm being a little biased by some of those fascinating environments the screencaps were taken in, of course. I really look forward to this getting finished out. I'll definitely be trying out though, an "honor" so far reserved for Misa's. Good job! Are those new water/lava textures and suchlike in the more recent screenshots already in the download, or forthcoming?

Oh god, I dont think my computer can run it!
Looks nice. Once I move up to 64x64 for the tron pack I might give these a try.
Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
