To all those having issues with black screens, go to the appropriate thread and wait or look for a workaround. No amount of editing of my textures, and posting them as an update will fix HD support on the latest version of Minecraft. Either play an older version of Minecraft with my pack (You do keep backups of working versions of minecraft.jar, yes?), or wait for xau to release a newer version of MCPatcher.
I'm really getting tired of having to repeat this every single time the client updates. Does no one know how to use the search thread feature? I even touched upon this in the announcements I posted last weekend on the main post.

Can I try to interest you in making additional creature textures?
I've stated my stance on support for mods that alter the game several times. Also I was already contacted by the author of this mod via PM when he first started it. I said I wouldn't do HD support for a pack I wouldn't be using. Instead I offered to help him on vanilla-resolution textures. But shortly after, he doubled the default resolution, and held a contest among a bunch of other artists, so I quietly backed out. It's just way too much work with no payoff for me to supply mods I will not be using with HD textures.

I would like to respectfully suggest (or echo the suggestion, if others have brought this up!) making future versions (if any, and hopefully there are!) of this texture pack a .zip file
I had already planned on it. I figured me addressing the issue twice and removing the rar version download links would've already revealed my intentions of doing so. (And yes, there will definitely be updates as needed. :))

Hello, Still love the texture pack. Playing on an old version so everything still runs great.
How is your hand?
Great to see people making backups!
As for the hand, it's gettin' there. The external laceration is healing up pretty well, while the insides are still extremely sore. I did get to fully flex my fingers for the first time last night though! I've been keeping my hand as straight as a board for days (even in bed) so everything would heal fine.
I give it maybe one more day before I can completely remove the bandages. Then I'll probably just apply some super glue (cyanoacrylate) to the surface just to be safe and use my hand normally. There'll probably be some muscle pain for a week or two, but at least I'll be able to do some stuff again.

I'm an artist, Jim! Not a programmer!
Sorry to see your getting frustrated. :sad.gif: Just know that all the frustration stems from people loving your pack and not being able to get enough of it. Once the patch situation calms down it will all me smiles again.
Try to not let people get to you its just how things go but for every frustrating moment there is a good one. I remember reading you like seeing what people have done with your pack. INC awesome.

All of my minecraft pictures are here including my Flying Blimp that actually fly's around my minecraft world.

I have been looking around for what is causing the problem (I knew it had to do with the update), but it wasn't really clear if it was a patch or not. Even with searching it still took 20 minutes before I found an explanation (granted I might have just been being thick headed ).
Perhaps, right by the 'how to install' instruction, you put a comment like:
If you follow these exactly and are getting a black screen, this has to do with HD graphics support which is beyond my control.
Misa, you should just put this at the very top of the original post.
If you have followed my instructions exactly and are still having issues then the problem lies with the HD patcher. Not my pack. I can not help you with it.
I'm pretty sure at that point you could start ignoring anyone who comes in asking the redundant questions without fear of being considered rude. After all, it doesn't get more obvious than that. If they can't read a couple of sentences in massive font at the top of the first post, then they probably aren't even reading your instructions either. In which case, they don't deserve your time. =P
I hope you're still working on this even with the downtime on the patcher. Don't think I'm going to let you get away with not updating just because there's no way to use it with the current version of the game.

Hey, guys.
Beta = released to the public.
Minecraft Alpha is Beta.
And don't turn this statement into an argument, please.

Once you stop riding him he can try to blow you again.
I have had nothing but trouble with this pack. I want it to work really badly but it refuses. I have followed your instructions to the letter and it still doesn't work. I even completely reinstalled Minecraft. After I patch it, when I load the game and log in the screen goes back and does nothing.
Guys if you're having issues with it going to black screen, DO THIS.
Open up your minecraft.bin and this texture pack in rars. INDIVIDUALLY replace the contents of each folder. Open each folder in both of the .rar files and drag them over. Once that's done, finish it by moving all of the individual files EXCEPT for pack.txt into it.
Patch the game with the MCPatcher v1.1.9_02 and DESELECT "custom water" and "custom lava" then patch it. It will take a little longer to start but it will work!
when i start my minecraft it freezes then i get a crash report
heres the crash report:

It's already out of date and broken with the new version. Notch has been on a roll.
He must really want me to make a 16x16 texture pack.
Don't give in!
Sign up and post your support here, I didn't make this but it's the topic with the most support already, which seems to be how Mojang is prioritizing things (i.e. 1485 people want gates for fences got it "under consideration"). We need to surpass 279 people to get on the front page above "Grass and Snow no longer regenerate in SP".
