Misa, I wanted to tell you something, as you see in the image, the Stone texture looks really weird when you have so many of them next to each other, I know you are an artist and that you know what you are doing, but, this have bothered me since i started using your texture pack (which is very awesome already) but, if you think the same as i do, could you try redoing the texture? i would be very, very grateful if you could do this for me, thanks -Darckray5

She fixed that already a long time ago. Reinstall Mcpatcher as Kexikus said.

This looks now better:
I dont really want to use CTM, its good and all, but, still, i want to reduce lag, misa, when you start making that Alternates file you were taking about a while ago, Could you add Stone alternates? you would make me very happy if you could do so
Went here to see the new horse textures. Have yet to see any (if there is any posted), but I did find that you're struggling financially or something about possibly becoming homeless. Is it true?
My magical psychic powers predict that you are running on a laptop--that and read Dinnerbone's tweets last week on the subject and it reminded me of the exact same issue I dealt with in my Tinychat years ago that seems to be popping up with more frequency since the 1.6 update. If you're running on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, this is just a simple matter of assigning the java and/or minecraft applications to use your dedicated graphics over your integrated graphics
This is a rather old issue. I once encountered this with my cousin's HP Pavilion DV4 notebook 2 years back. It gave me headaches trying to fix it, since my cousin can't play Minecraft with the lag. It turns out that HP notebooks with "dynamic" switchable graphics had a problem with OpenGL-based games like Minecraft. These games could only utilize the integrated graphics and not the dedicated one, resulting to choppy performance. While they've released a patch for this for DV6 notebooks, they've yet to release one for my cousin's DV4, which he's no longer using.
Just thought of bringing this up in case some of you here with an HP DV6 notebook has a similar or the same problem.
Guys I am running Minecraft 1.6.2 with the MCPatcher 4.1.0_02 release (last fro the moment) and my fonts are kinda weird looking ,,there are some letters that are missing a little part of them from their right side, mostly it's a letter "e".
Take a look at the letter "e" on this image.
p.s. I am guessing it's a MCPatcher issue, but in the 4.1.0_02 change log it was mentioning, that it was fixed some font issue?!
Thanks
Interesting, you have connected textures working in 1.6.2?
So is this only me, or Minecraft 1.6.2 with mcpatcher-4.1.0_01 and mcpatcher-4.1.0_02 (the newest as of NOW) is not working properly: meaning the connected textures are not working plus the letters in the font are missing their right edge (mostly the letter "e")
You can see the pictures of the bags in the posts above !
1.6.1 is perfectly fine, though !
Oh odd it looks like it was on for your quartz pillars, but yeah that is why i asked because others are having issues also.
Mojang ninja updated 1.6.2 between the pre-release and final release and broke a few things with MCPatcher that were working perfectly in the pre-release. Just have some patience until they're fixed on the patcher. In the meantime, many of you could always just play on an older, working version (As that's now luducrously easy to do on the new launcher.). Or you could always play a real game instead of Minecraft.
Also I really shouldn't have to mention this by now, considering all the flaming and moderator intervention that's taken place over this in the past, but this thread is not for the discussion or promotion of the subject of MCPatcher vs. Optifine--it's for discussion of the texture pack.
The only technical issues or troubleshooting solutions that may be posted on this thread are those that arise only if you have followed the installation instructions on the first post or are in process of attempting to. If you haven't or are not, please take your issues to the appropriate thread of the utility you used to install this pack.
Love the updated pack. Especially enjoy the new charcoal... I just wanted to ask if there is a texture for the stem of melons? My pumpkin stems have textures, but the stem (or actual plant, I mean) of melons seems to be the minecraft default.

(Just to echo the same thing with visual aids).
If you've updated to Mincraft 1.6.2 be aware that MCpatcher is not up-to-date and the latest version of MCpatcher (mcpatcher-4.1.0_02) does not patch 1.6.2...
What difference does that make with this resource pack? Well, if you're vigilant you've probably noticed some textures not working properly.
(1.6.2 as seen if patched with mcpatcher-4.1.0_02)
If you've got the new launcher just switch over and use 1.6.1-mcpatcher...
(open the launcher, select edit profile, and select 1.6.1-mcpatcher, click save profile, and run the game)
...and everything will look normal again.
They'll get it fixed soon and then you'll be able to patch 1.6.2, but in the meantime just use the older version.
Whatever in the last 1.5 Optifine update that made this pack run at 2 FPS is gone now! I can finally enjoy both again! Love that stone has a greenish tint in jungle biomes. It's a way to tell what biome I'm in underground without having to use the debug menu, which takes away from the experience.

So I'm running 1.6.2, current version of Misa, and patched with the version of mcpatcher from this morning. CTD works, but I noticed the watermelon vine is the default texture. Pumpkins are fine. Any ideas what I might've screwed up?

Well, it doesn't work wit the newest my patcher version here (vers. 4.1.0_03). I downloaded it, then let it patch but it was still on 1.6.1.
Perhaps someone could help me? Do I have to completely reinstall the mc patcher + texture pack?
Edit: OK, actually i don't really know what i changed now, but it seemed to be right; it works now.
I see that you figured it out, but this is how it happens. MCPatcher directly relates to the current version that's being played or has been played recently. So if you're playing 1.6.1 MCPatcher will select that to patch by default. You have to select 1.6.2 from the new launcher, run the game, then close it, and run MCPatcher to patch 1.6.2. After that you should be running 1.6.2-mcpatcher.
Wut, mine always looked like the first image .-. is that a CTM feature?
I believe so. CTM features allow the textures to look better when placed side by side so that the textures don't just look like one small ugly repeating texture and it takes on a more natural looking consistency that way.
If anyone is having problems with the texture's, etc, and you have Misa's updated Texture pack and 1.6.2 MCPatcher then you need to remove the old 1.6.1 folders in the "versions" folder.
Mac, application support, minecraft, (.minecraft- PC), versions.
Get rid of any folder that says 1.6.1 in the versions folder and rerun MCPatcher and it should work then. Just happened to see the log for MCPatcher and it said it was installing into the 1.6.1 version files.
I also use Rei's mini map and it wasn't showing up. Everything works now.
Anybody else worried of Cube world starting to make users leave minecraft? or is it just me?, the creator of CW said he was going to put the Building of Houses inside the game, (sorry if this is too off-topic) they are copying minecraft very much, the cube aspect, the randomly generated worlds, and now the housing too... and, not only minecraft but Diablo and WoW too, Character classes and magic runes... Gahhh

Pretty sure all voxel games are cube-based.
Either way, no game could take the place of Minecraft.
And to keep on topic: Love the enchant specific animations (most notable: fire)
Misa. are you going to release one with sounds as well?
Whenever you look at a long thread, use the search feature, control+f, and/or read (at least) the last 10 pages.
This has already been discussed. Thoroughly.

How are character classes and magic runes copying Diablo and WoW? Those aren't even remotely new concepts; they've been around since well before video games even existed.
