Originally I did do the Steve creeper with my player skin, but it was too creepy to look at for even myself--especially when I cut out the eyeholes. Also the face looked too realistic for a makeshift paper costume. I went with the vanilla skin because it makes more sense as something you could hand-make a paper costume out of. That creeper is intended to be more of a joke than super deceptive or camouflaged.
On that note I'm up to 70 working creepers (including one that required an animation) on the new roster and there'll be plenty of really nasty camouflaged ones to worry about. And by that I don't mean the ones with military camo prints. I've run into a few "holy shit" moments during tests with wooden creepers in forests. In some cases they're practically invisible until they move.
Regarding the military camo ones, they have been completely redesigned to look like one of the normal biome creepers, only they're wearing a sleeveless camouflaged field jacket with a hood. Some of them actually do blend in pretty well. The concept behind them is also intended to be more of a joke than actual camouflage though--as though they're trying too hard to effectively creep.
Misa i am looking for the old texturepack to downlowd. This old texturepack i like more, is it possible to downlowd the old texturpacks?
That would be nice, thank you!

I have Misa201. I can Upload it when Misa give me the permission
I like to mix texture packs sometimes, because for instance I used to like lb's lapis, obsidian, and planks better.
However, the connected textures makes the obsidian 100x better. I am still not too fond of the bathroom tile lapis blocks, or the planks, but I am too lazy to change the lapis, so I'll stay with it, and the planks I would have to change so many items.
I do not really mind the planks, LB's are just much better.
I don't even know if it is legal to mix texture packs, even for personal use ._.

If it's personal use, you can do what you like, just don't release what you've done without permission from all the original artists.
For my FTB gaming, I'm using Misa as the foundation, and then Sphax or T42 textures for the machine mods, and I've been adjusting various natural world item mod textures to match Misa style.
I've even expanded on the natural foliage CTM that Misa has made, and created my own texture and properties file to expand the number of grass/fern/flower textures being used by using some resources I have, and some from other texture packs.
It really seems Dinnerbone has it out for me and other well-established texture pack authors sometimes. I'll wait on actually passing judgement until I get a snapshot to play with though. I'm glad they're finally re-writing the render engine at least. The current one is a big, disgusting mess. Now if only they could get off of Java.

I am not looking forward to every texture having its own image file. Seems there should be a better way to do it that that.
Single textures makes it a ton easier to release compatability packs, and to pick and choose much easier which textures you prefer. As long as they do a logical naming system....
You know what I hope, that they contact Misa and use her textures as default
I guess one plus to the support would be stopping people constantly asking why someone's texturepack "breaks" minecraft.
MC Patcher will still have all those awesome features though so it won't be rendered totally useless.
Though I'm sure it will be rendered totally incompatible for a good while seeing the severity of the changes involved.
They need to...
A: get HD textures to work properly withOUT having to use a patcher
2: have an easy way to have connected and random textures, also without having to use a patcher (or with a patcher, but with proper modding support for the patchers, among other things)
last: make sure the file names are easy enough to understand and work with (i.e. - Smooth Stone's data value is 1, so file name should be texture_001 or texture_smoothstone or something of the like) and are flexible
:3
nice pack as always misa, keep up the great work
Obviously I was just pointing out how creative the new creeper skins are. I love 'em
