Just wanted to drop by and thank you. I started back in the days of Pre-Alpha and yours was one of those i used. I stopped playing MC 2-3 years ago. Just recently came back and it is a bit sad to see what has happened to some of the classic texturepacks i fell in love with(like this one). Maybe one day you can spare "some" time to continue what you've started back then. I hope so.

So, whishes are great, but did you consider, that doubling the resolution means REPAINTING all the blocks and items? (currently around 370 and 280; but good packs nowadays offer much more additional variants).
Since she never had time or mood to update her base pack for new stuff, why she should do this?
Also, shadersupport means you create bump and normal maps for most of your blocks, which would be around 2* 300 additional png's to create.
There are many other (semi) realistic texture packs out there, many with real high resolutions that also offers downscaled 128x versions, which are much more easy to create. Why don't try just some diffrent thing?

I was just wondering, is there perhaps a version list of this pack with download links? Now, I know this is a very strange question but I've been trying to get back into the old version and swiftly got bored of the old textures and figured since this was my favourite pack in the "old times" I thought why not use it again.
Depending on which version you wanted, afaik, the latest should work and MC will ignore the excess textures (I'm just guessing here)? but as for older versions where the textures are all in a single file, you would need an older one matching that particular MC version. There might be one lurking on one of the latest dozen or so pages if you want to give it a search (most likely posted by Misa herself), but I can't say for certain. Until someone else pops in to answer, this is the best idea I got: search.

Your compass is backwards. Instead of the red arrow pointing towards the spawn it points away from it. I fixed it by modifying the assets/minecraft/models/item/compass.json file, just replace its contents with this:

I would also like to introduce to you my patch, which includes all our best works (in my opinion). The main thing is that you can find the textures of Lams here, as well as many other interesting things. The patch includes a complete replacement of the original textures, from such cool people as Les, UQ, and many others.
If you are a true lover of Misa's Texture Pack, then you should definitely watch this patch. And also at will, to share your thoughts or textures (if you have something interesting). Compatible with Minecraft version 1.11.2. To install requires only Optifine.
This works great, thank you! There are a few minor issues I discovered though:
The CIT potions (assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/cit/potion) has some filenames with uppercase letters, which OptiFine skips. Simple fix is replacing the uppercase letters with all lowercase, e.x. nightVision.png should be nightvision.png.
Similarly, the cat anim files (assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/anim/misacat[B/R/S]) need their uppercase letters changed to lowercase. misacatB.png --> misacatb.png, etc, and the "from" line in the properties files needs to be changed to match.
In the color.properties (assets/minecraft/mcpatcher), the Horse spawn egg stuff needs to be renamed from "egg.[shell/spots].EntityHorse" to "egg.[shell/spots].Horse".
I would upload a fixed version myself, but I don't want to look like I'm taking credit from you.

Can you help me with the problem of white water in the сauldron? How through Optifine to make the water in the сauldron blue, without changing the very texture of the water in the Blocks.
Huh. That seems like a bug with OptiFine to me. If the water textures are used in models, like the cauldron does, they don't get colorized.
For now we can work around it like this:
Make a copy of the water_still.png and water_still.png.mcmeta files, renamed to cauldron_water instead of water_still.
Open cauldron_water.png in Gimp. Go to Image --> Mode and select RGB. Go to Colors --> Colorize, and do something around 230 Hue, 45 Saturation, and -40 Lightness. (It'll look dark but in the game it shows up much brighter.) Save it.
Copy the vanilla "cauldron_level1.json", "cauldron_level2.json", and "cauldron_level3.json" models to the pack. Open each file, and change the water texture from "blocks/water_still" to "blocks/cauldron_water".
The water will look the same regardless of biome unfortunately, but at least it'll be blue.
Sad to see you gone, Misa. You were the best texture pack I used for the mobs. Your legacy will remain and I hope someone can come along and continue your work. Farewell, Misa.

Your compass is backwards. Instead of the red arrow pointing towards the spawn it points away from it. I fixed it by modifying the assets/minecraft/models/item/compass.json file, just replace its contents with this:
after all these years, at least six by now, with your Texture Pack, i wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the wonderful time, you gave me when i was at my PC. Thank you for all the beautiful memories, i still have. Thank you for this wonderful Texture Pack.
I saw it the first time watching the German Youtuber "Gronkh", and i was immediately impressed. At the time it was very hard for me to figure out how to install the Texture Pack. Later, when more and more features were implemented, i didn't want to use anything else. It was and still is my favourite Pack.
When i found out that the Texture Pack doesn't get updated anymore, and at the same Gronkh canceled his "Let's Show series" i was very sad.
To cancel such a beautiful project, must have been hard to overcome.
Of course, eventually i heard about Les, but it didn't feel real to continue playing like that. Also, after you told us what your future plans for the Texture Pack would have been like, it just wasn't the same anymore.
Considering that, i just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. It was a beautiful journey with your Texture Pack.

Ich wünschte ich hätte deinen Beitrag früher entdeckt. Ist lange her, dass ich auf Misas Seite war.
Meine Übersetzung ist hoffentlich zu deiner Zufriedenheit. Ich habe versucht textnah zu übersetzen, aber dennoch nach eigenem Ermessen einige geringfügige Veränderungen vorgenommen. Ich hoffe das ist in Ordnung.
Das Schlimmste ist, dass mit den neuen Java-Versionen der MC-Patcher nicht mehr richtig tut, was zu so Hässlichkeiten wie grauem Wasser usw. führt.
Immerhin spiele ich Minecraft schon seit Sommer 2011 und meine Hauptwelt, an der ich seitdem ununterbrochen gearbeitet habe, hat einiges von ihrem Reiz verloren.
Falls es mir dennoch gelingt die alte Version wiederherzustellen, werde ich ein entsprechendes Video machen, und auch auf dieser Seite veröffentlichen. Vielleicht kann es ja dem ein oder anderen als Inspiration dienen.
Und ich kann dich sehr gut verstehen, was Gronkh angeht. Honeyballs Texturenpack, ohne es geringschätzen zu wollen, hat einfach nicht denselben Charme und Stellenwert wie dieses. Solche grellen Farben sind doch eher was für Kinder
Betrüblicherweise kann nichts die alten Zeiten zurückbringen, in denen irgendwie alles perfekt war

Zu den grauen Texturen kann ich dir einen Tipp geben. Versuch es mal mit Optifine. Die Mod unterstützt mitlerweile alle features vom MCpatcher und noch einige mehr.
Wie du schon sagtest nichts kann alte Zeiten zurück bringen, aber alles hat einmal ein Ende. Gronkh hat ja auch mitlerweile wieder mit Minecraft angefangen. Auch wenn er jetzt Livestreams macht, ist er immer noch der alte geblieben und es macht mir immer noch Spaß zu zusehen.

(Yes, sketches. Not the actual textures so that we can make them ourselves, and you don't have to spend 4 hours just to make those textures.)

here's a fixed version, with the exact number of frames Misa has specified for them, instead of the original.
