ssaint 'SS'.
ssaint, I've done two versions for you, as your 'SS' initials in one looked slightly more 'Third Reich' than the other, Lol!. Please note: ssaint is not a neo-nazi or anything, the SS are initials for ssaint...no dramatic reports to admin please!
Hahah, good show! Sorry I was absent when these we're first released, but I have a terrible case of strep throat. Fantastic job, and I love both variants, so I'm not sure which I'll use

Glad you like, mate. Hope the throat gets better soon! :sad.gif:
I'll be goofing around with the biometerrainmod to generate a cool steampunk world. I'll post results when I finish.
It will have fun floaty mountains, and large plains.
Oooo! I like the sound of that. I wish I didn't have so much time invested in my one and only world! :sad.gif:
Almost got it.
you should make another world where you have no qualms about INVediting. That's what I do.

I have an idea for another quite extreme texture pack from this, so -El- has provoked me to some good thinking. Not that I've time to develop it...perhaps when I reach retirement age! Lol!
It´s always a pleasure to help ;D Tell me when you need another idea and I´ll provoke you asap :biggrin.gif:
Just building a steampunk greenhouse with glass and cobblestone, looks great so far. The only annoying thing is that you can´t select the pictures :sad.gif:
Lol! No...too many ideas already!
Try the mod 'Punch-a-Pic', Link in my OP on page 1 under the paintings pic. I think there's a server version. Also if you used a 'bukkit' server system, there's an even more refined mod there that allows you to scroll through a menu of pics, but that may only work with the standard paintings, not the 'Xtreme' version.
Your Personalised Steampunk Minecarts Here are two more completed minecarts (with appropriately coloured icons) delivered in the same order their owners posted requests on my thread. The next batch will be posted as soon as possible...slow drying paint! :biggrin.gif:

Rename your minecart skin to 'cart' and drop it in the 'item' folder in 'Glimmar's Steampunk' texture pack in your Minecraft texture packs folder (or your texture pack of choice). Make sure you put it in your active texture pack and not the 'minecraft.jar', otherwise everytime you run Minecraft it will get over-ridden by the cart skin in whichever texture pack you're using...meaning you won't see any change.
The icons are colour coordinated with the minecart of your choice, but you don't need to use them to get the cart to work. However, if you want everything to match perfectly, you need to paste these co-ordinated icons over the top of the existing cart icons on the 'items.png' sheet in the 'gui' folder. Use a graphics programme that can handle transparency, like Photoshop, Gimp or Paint.net.
I hope I've got close to what you wanted. Have fun! :smile.gif:

When placing a portal block, it only faces east/west and cannot face north/south. I dont know if this is a texturepack problem or a minecraft problem. I just thought I would let you know just in case you can fix it.
Haha! You sound as fuddled as me Kaleo! Lol! CandyBlu's his pic (I hope!), his (or her...better not jump to conclusions) name is 'biodude94566', and yes, he's on the list.
It's Biu, not Blu. i, not L. I prefer Candy Biu for referring to me, though I still use my slightly older "biodude" name to sign up on sites.

I'm definately the most fuddled around here then, but you're still on the list! :smile.gif:

Just tested out the Nether-plate texture as cobble slab, here's the results:
That half brick isn't as bad as I thought it might be. It would be necessary to bisect it with a double row of rivets. Possibly even cross bisect it to make it appear as smaller panels. As it stands though, that looks quite acceptable if you don't want to lose the large standard panel size.

I also tried shrinking it down to a 16x16 and copying it, but it didn't turn out all that well (blurring of the rivets). Here's the results of that.
Whenever, I've had to reduce things to 16x16 I've used a different method of reduction than 'cubic' and it's always needed reworking, to pull some aspects back into focus.

does anyone know about a free image host? all my png's i put in my posts have low quality
images is cooming soon(need imagehost)
For image hosting, until recently, I used 'scrnshots.com'. Over the past week I've converted to using ImageShack and enjoying some of it's added facilities, though it doesn't have as good a means of accessing and looking through your database of stored pics. However, both are free. :smile.gif:
Ha ha! It's on it's own little plinth and looking very proud of itself!
If we had a 'front' and 'back' panel, distinct from the 'sides', we'd be able to make little 'Thomas the Tank Engines', Lol!

Yep! That's what I meant about having to work on the blurred downsized texture. :smile.gif: Show that one to Gestankfaust, he's working on a 16x16 version of my pack with a mixture of his own textures I think.

Weird how you floated off into the sky at the end?!!
