You're thinking of GPS. Not satellite imaging. Satellite imaging takes place entirely in orbit, so a scrambler would be useless unless you brought it over near where I am, in which case I wouldn't need satellite imaging to find you anyhow.

Recently started playing again, so I figured I'd check in and see what new and exciting updates have been added since my last visit. I see by the title that an update has been released and that there is new rail and cobble (plus random stuff)… anything in particular I should look for?

I know that Glimmar is working diligently on his next update ... and for that matter, so am I. I have been devoting a lot of time lately to getting Thaumcraft up to scratch, as well as finding inspiration where I will and making some other changes.
For a bit of a sneak peek:
The rounded glass is found in Forestry, the Wood/Brick combination is found in Gany's Surface (compressed Orange Dye - and these pics are my first looking at them, and I need to do some more work) and other bits you may recognize from Thaumcraft.
This is only a taste. I have added quite a significant number of textures since my last update.
Are you sure you're not a magician? It is strange coincidence, 'cause I've addded Thaumcraft to my private modpack few days ago! And I was all like "aw man, texturre support for Thaum is minimal.. I'll have to include other pack's assets.. Like oh-so-realistic-Soartex"
And now, after several days, I see this GLORY.
So, I see you've done most of the blocks and other stuff that I can recognize from my tiny expirience in Thaumcraft. What about those mysterious realms and mobs, that reside there?
(dont mind strange word choices, zero english lang practice)

As far as the Thaumcraft realms and the like ... no, I have not done anything with all that. Basically, as I progress through Thaumcraft, I update textures to see how it works in the environment. That, and considering the amount of textures that are found ... good grief!

Well, you can donwload the whole pack and then break it in several sub-packs ( I do this to ease texture edit ).
Wall/glass/floor are from Gany's Surface, as Megistus mentioned several posts above.

Just as Overjay stated ... the download is for all the mods in one resource pack. Once you download it, you can just delete out what you don't need or want - or just leave it alone - or swap around what you want. The multiple download you see on the widget are for the different versions. Just click on the left download instead of viewing all three and you will get the resource pack.

There are plenty of textures that still need to be worked ... there are several thousand images ... No. I am not done, yet, but, the bulk of it is complete. That, at least until I decide I don't like a particular texture and rework it again. *sigh*
I was getting back into FTB packs and wanted to help out a little around here. I have always used Gimmar's pack and wish to give back to the community.
If you have any projects you would want to shuffle off, I would be happy to lend a hand in the workshop.

I don't have any projects that I want to shuffle off ... as I work on what I use. That all being said, however, means that there are plenty of other mods out there that I don't use but others do. Take a look at what mods you have and compare that to the list of what I am working on. Please, by all means work on those mods that I am not! There are plenty that would appreciate all your hard efforts. And, please, feel free to use whatever you need out of the pack I have developed and create your own.
That all being said... That I have my resource pack on curse forge is through special arrangement between myself and Glimmar. Unless you receive permission, just upload it to, say, mediafire and provide a link ONLY on this form. Further, as I have put in my legal notes in the resource pack and on the curse forge page ... the images found within the resource pack belong to Glimmar, not to me. Though I have spent endless hours on making new images, I have spent almost as much time as taking his textures and bending them to my will ,they are still his.
So, I look forward to seeing the work you produce for other mods!

Rails are majestic! Also take a close look to gravel/sand... you may find stuff in those now

Once you download it, you can just delete out what you don't need or want - or just leave it alone - or swap around what you want.
