Ah, you changed the name, I was looking for the thread to search for updates and couldn't find it.
Why not "Frenden' s Minimalist Texture pack" ? :biggrin.gif:
Btw, your new avatar is awesome, lol. I'm still trying to find a good one for me :tongue.gif:
Thanks for that, Senso! Dropbox, my file host, is having some issues. It should be back up soon. I'm adding minimalist to the thread title to help people find it too. :smile.gif:
First off, I love your texture, Frenden. Second, the new cobblestone texture is overlapping into the gold ore texture. Third, I rather liked the old cobblestone texture and the old ore textures. Something about the embossed look of the new ores that doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the flatter texture. For instance, not even the new cobblestone texture has that raised, embossed look.
Maybe you should leave it up for historical purposes or as alternate versions. =P
Edit: Also, I'd make make the iron a bit redish brown like the original as it's easier to distinguish from the gray stone than the light gray iron. Think of it as rusty iron!

This is kinda what i had in mind:
A little flatter but they still look like they're "popping" out of the stone.

All good points. I'm a bit conflicted on the ore textures as well. A big concern is that the previous ones were so similar to the raw stone that people had trouble differentiating the two. Further investigation is required. :smile.gif:
I've been using this since you released it, and I'm loving it. However, I've noticed it's a little hard to differentiate between the lighter colored blocks - wool and sand especially. Like I said on your video, the obsidian is probably my favorite thing about this pack. The color is really nice.
For some reason, the images are not loading for me.. all it says is "Image" and there is nothing there. :sad.gif:
Otherwise, this looks freakin" sweet!

I fixed it to match the other dirt and grass textures:
Sorry I keep posting with this stuff but i really like your textures! =P
I made a... ummm.. lava-powered dirt balloon.
