I LOVE how these textures look, especially the sand, though personally i think its a tad too tan (wet looking), i recently built a pyramid out of sand (with cobblestone underneith) in my huge desert area, but with this texture pack it looks more like mud than sand.
So they look dirty... like pigs do? If you've ever seen a pig you'd know that they are NEVER clean. Looks much better like this imho. Also, if you did a little digging you'd come across the directory called "Normal Pig" in "Alternates + Extra Stuff/Animals + Enemies/".
Anyways. I was going to suggest you should totally suggest 7zip instead of WinRAR. Supporting free opensource software, that does the job better anyways (imo) and supports more formats ftw!
Also, awesome texture pack, and thanks for updating so frequently!
I too am having problems applying the pack using the ingame "Mods and Texture Packs" option. The texture shows up as an option, but the icon is black and white and when i try to apply it and start the game, its still in default.

Just curious, I installed the texture pack manually for 1.2.2, applied the patch, and I noticed when I launch the game now it says I'm using Alpha 1.2.1_01 and not 1.2.2. Is this supposed to happen?

I don't think so... I just installed mine manually and it says 1.2.2 at the top left of the screen
Try deleting the "bin" folder, restarting minecraft, and re-installing the textures

This looked pretty good until I saw the pigs.
What the hell were you thinking?
"Let's rub some generic brown on them in mspaint and call it good"
If you have a problem with them looking like REAL pigs (covered in mud),
then please use the clean "normal pig" alternate in the "Alternates" folder

Sorry if this is a noob question.
Thanks.
If you did exactly as I said in the instructions for "Texture Selector Packs", you shouldn't have a problem
First, delete whatever you put into your "texturepacks" folder
Now go into Mixcraft v17 Pack, then to Texture Selector Packs, then to the version you want to use
Just drag the zip file from that folder directly into the "texturepacks" folder, and start Minecraft
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

Minecraft won't apply the pack to the game? Should I use the MCPatcher?
Is that first sentence supposed to be a question or a statement? What exactly is the problem?
Both when I use the Minecraft mod & textures option it doesn't apply the skin it will keep the defualt skin. I used the MCPatcher and it worked after getting an error a few times.
I get a black screen on startup, and I used the usual method of installing the texture pack. I followed the instructions as per usual, so I have no idea why I'm getting this black screen, never happened before.
Try just deleting the bin folder, restarting minecraft, and installing it again
And make sure you are using Version 1.1.8 of Xau's texture patcher
HELP!!!! I installed your texture pack and i followed the videos instrucrions and everything, and now when i try to start up minecraft, it says its downloading changes and freezes there, any idea what this is about and how i can fix it?

If you are using the texture-selector pack, you didn't read the text file (Problems.txt)
If you are using the regular texture pack, you didn't install the patch (HD Texture Patch)
Still, great friggin work! :smile.gif:
thank you works perfectly now =]

type in "%appdata%\.minecraft" in run on start menu (without quotes).....then right click the bin file and hit delete.
