That aside, I can't wait to use the pack when it is more complete. I understand that you need inspiration to do good work, but I think you should focus on the more common objects like crafting benches, chests, and the like. I find that the bright and colorful default textures don't exactly blend seamlessly with your designs.
I really enjoy the revised cloth, along with the snow you've shown. Do you have plans to update the pack with them soon?

It takes dedication above all else! I will most certainly be doing furniture soon!

It took quite a bit of work to get the cloth texture where it is now, but it was worth it! I'll probably get a release out soon, I just want to do a few more textures before I do.

Very good to hear!
I hadn't noticed the particle effects until now, and the skulls have to be my favorite. I like to think of them as spirits being liberated from enthrallment. The only thing that could make them any neater is coupling them with a spooky lantern or brazier.

I really like the skull gravel and the re-skinned mobs, but I don't like anything else, it all looks a little too vibrantly colored to be survival horror themed
UPDATE:
New version is out! Includes:
Snow
better Cloth texture
Sand is now muck
Reeds and Cacti have been reskinned
bowls/soup are now bottles/HEALTH DRINK
I was going to do a hell/otherworldy texture pack after finishing my apocalypse pack (although it may be a good idea to put the Apococraft texture on hold so I can have a hell/otherworldly pack in time for halloween...), but there is no way it could compete with... This

Ooh I like the bloody wool blocks I would make the grass less blueish though
The wool block has been changed since those screenshots were taken, it's still red though. As for the grass, well, I don't know, I just like bluish-greenish tones.
Good, they're supposed to look otherworldly.
Also, what does the "best" gravel look like? Pic plz :biggrin.gif:
I prefer Notch's gravel.

I simply have to try this out one of these days.
It's quite up my alley. Keep up the good work!
But fine, you can have these attempts at remaking it to see the horribleness for yourself.
I would LOVE to see some nice "survivor" clothing.
Or references to survival horror games :3
Also, random, but:
What is your avatar?
It looks pretty interesting. :ohmy.gif:
Nothing yet.
What exactly do you mean?
I feel that being too referential is a sign of creative sterility.
It's... a long explanation.
