Hey, I just finished my space-themed texture pack, do you think it could be added to the list? It's called "SpaceCraft", and it's a simple 16x16 texture pack. The topic is here:
"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say that there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." -Frank Zappa
I might PM all you texture pack creators this same bit, but thought I'd post here first:
Consider asking TomyLobo to modify his mipmap patch so that your textures don't turn into noisy crud when viewed near-edge-on or from a distance. Or maybe Xau's patcher could be made to work with it properly.
The only reason I don't use higher-resolution texture packs is the lack of mipmapping support in vanilla MC - I hate the shimmer. See my post for a simple before-and-after of how this makes textures avoid turning into noise.
So, I'm looking for the texture pack found in this image:
I don't know anything about it, it's just a screenshot I found on 4chan and the pack looked really nice. I searched the Texture Block thread and this thread up and down twice and nothing seems to match it. It looks like it's at least a 128px skin. Does anyone know what it is?
thanks for adding mine, but you still haven't added my 16x16 version. In fact that screen shot is my 16x16 version. (Qualjak's Cellshaded Pack)
The 16x16 version (beta) is listed under it. Notice it says Beta/ Beta HD, and it's at the top of the 32x32 section. All mods that support both 32x32 and 16x16 go at the top of their respective HD section. As for the image, I usually judge which ever screenshot displays the pack the best, and use that as the thread display image (it has to look decent resized to a width of 320). I think that image just kinda showcases your pack the best, not to mention you're using shitbucket and all your links are dead.

And @everyone else, I'll work on updating the thread soon.
The mod section is discontinued and will only showcase the most popular and most known/ used mods out there, such as FancyPack, Mo' Creatures, Mr. Modds, Portable Torch, Functional Books, etc.
Small mods will no longer be added to the list and all the old ones will be removed. For a more updated list, visit One Stop Mod Shop.
Thank you; that is a very nice texture pack and I may use it anyways. However, I don't think it's quite the one I am looking for, unless the image I have is just an outdated version of that pack.[/quote]

The reeds are an exact match, so it could be.
Yeah, I saw the reeds match and the tree trunk match and thought maybe it's the same, but the water dirt sand stone torches glass etc looked different. I have absolutely no idea.

It could also be one of those "mix" packs where someone mixed together textures from other 128x128 texture packs.
Ok, most of the old mods have been removed and only the popular ones have been left in their place (i usually judged them by amount of thread posts/ views), so if your mod was removed, sorry, but it's been a pain to keep the list updated. Use Creeper's thread from now on, if you want a complete list of mods. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=93171
Also, I've updated the Creative section with ingame screenshots and moved a few of the old, nonworking Alpha packs that were compatible with Creative down to Creative.
I'm not too happy about it as a pack maker, but as a pack user, it's a great idea. Though sometimes there's a really good pack that gets looked over merely because it caters to a niche group. But oh well, I guess that IS what more comprehensive threads are for.
Also it stands as a good reason for my other packs in the Cel-Pak family to not be listed - the original is the only one that's REALLY popular (7000+ downloads). The other three... one is fairly popular (1600-1800 downloads... one site I've got it listed on doesn't allow me to track downloads so I have to estimate based on pageviews and trends from the other sites), and the other two are brand-new and incomplete. Also, I doubt either is going to take off that much anyways. I'm more making 'em for my own benefit and sharing them in case someone's interested.

I'm pretty sure it's Soulscribe's 128x Texture Pack

Anyways, that's enough rambling.
