What does this do?
The file included adds syntax highlighting for the Minecraft Commands. Making it simpler to write the event in NP++ then copying it over to Minecraft (either command block or chat command)
Here is what the syntax will highlight:
All vanilla commands for Minecraft
Numbers and strings
All the block types for /setblock (doesn't have to be for /setblock meaning it can also be for /testforblock)
All the entities for the /summon command
NBT Tags (Most NBT tags, stuck mostly to NBT tags that can be used in commands)
How do I install this to Notepad++?
This is a simple process, in NP++ click on the "Language" toolbar then at the bottom click on "Define your language...". Then click on "Import" in the top left hand side of the dialog box that appears. Simply navigate to where you saved the XML file, that you downloaded from here, and then click on "Open" and close the dialog box. Presto! You've installed the custom syntax highlighting. To use it simply click on "Language" at the top then you should see "MC Commands" Click on that then NP++ will highlight.
What does the highlighting look like?
commands are bolded and do not need "/" as it isn't required in minecraft but can be used
Entities that can be summoned are highlighted in purple and bold
Blocks that can be spawned using "/setblock" are orange and bold (note: you do not need "minecraft:" before the block name but you can use it (I.E. minecraft:diamond_block and diamond_block would both work)
Numbers are blue
Strings are green
NBT tags are a teal-like color
I see that the command at the top of the topic page are on different lines.
This is fine as when you copy the command over to minecraft it mushes them on to 1 line.

This be even more awesome if this would be a ingame mod. Anyway great work
I could someday convert it to mod but that would take some time as I am working on an awesome tool for minecraft right now! It's a standalone command generator, it will be very in-depth

Yeah you saved my butt dude. Personally, I hate side scrolling and one-liners. I spend a lot of time writing it slowly into the command blocks. Good thing I can copy+paste. to you
EDIT: Oooops sorry for the necropost What a pitty this isnt being updated. This is a nice tool that could make maps with a lot of data tags much faster to make.
