When I tried to make my own server, after I got the ip and everything, I put into multiplayer on minecraft and it says "Can't Reach Server". I had the server applications launched and it was done preparing spawn area. It was just vanilla minecraft so I could see if it worked but I can't reach the server. I probably did something wrong but could you help?

When you connect to your own server, use "localhost".

I just tried that while the server was up and it still didn't work. Does it matter what port I use for the automatic port forwarding? Or should I just keep it as default?

That's weird. You shouldn't even need to port forward when connecting to your local/LAN server. I would recommend keeping it default unless you really need to change it. And don't specify the port when you connect with "localhost." You can also try connecting with "127.0.0.1."
I run everything and it works fine... But when I get the IP it's VERY long and is a ton of random numbers, and when I try to use it to connect to my server it says it's unable to? (I ran all the files in the folder before doing so)
Most ppeople have trouble making the details for the server such as gamemode map type and number of players perhaps you could add that to the server maker so it edits the files for you. I would appreciate that because i dont have the program needed to eedit them.
I had a vision of the world ending. I shall give you a hint. Mutant Shiba Inus.

It should work on both 32 bit and 64 bit. Are you having any issues?
Install 64 bit Java or remove the "-d64" option from the batch file.

Haha wow, Im dumb, I didnt realize it was bringing up the folder to choose the jar.....
If it was malware this post would be gone already. It's obfuscated, which is why it's probably setting off your antivirus.
-thx
