Would it be possible to add in a feature to make dimensions like the nether, with custom blocks as portals and denoting what the surface of the dimension should be?

You are using Forge, which I am pretty sure is not compatible with mods made with LMM
{snip}
You are using Forge, which I am pretty sure is not compatible with mods made with LMM
Wrong..... LMM mods DO work with forge (all my MOD's work with forge - except one.. the 'Lost Soul')
I have noticed that if a LMM Mod contains a MOB then it doesn't like Forge for some reason & crashes
There's been problems with 'Tools' made with custom ores etc, but usually that causes compiler errors....
The problem does definitely seem to be something to do with 'mod_CraftDiamond' though
EDIT: just saw Szotko's last post: is there any other differences ??
Like are you using Modloader & he's using Forge - or are you both using forge & if so are you using different versions
Can you supply the download link to the *.lyski file (& assoiciated graphics) - perhaps we can give it a try & might see something like I did earlier for BullitMagnet
Anyhow.. Linkseyi this Mod maker is awesome! Could you perhaps make it so you can change how much damage monsters do? Because I would like to make a boss on my mod =)
Guys i found out that when you put the mod (not in zip) in the jar file it may crash but when you put the mod
in the mods folder (mod is in zip file) it dosnt crash
Mod folder located here C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods
Well, I once edited a ComputerCraft config file so that the computer/turtle blocks would have IDs 401, 402, etc. As you see, any ID above 255 is not always reserved for just items.
I have created an easy-to-use, very interactive program in Java which will generate and compile ModLoader compatible Minecraft mods without MCP setup or other installations. It currently contains features such as block creation, item/tool creation, recipes, furnace recipes, and simple mob creation (somewhat of a WIP). It is still in development, and feedback/bug reports are appreciated.
Sandwich01 and TheBigCreeper are trusted friends... listen to them.
Disclaimer: Feel free to share your mods with friends, but DO NOT post any mods made with this program under the "Mapping and Modding" forum, especially if the mod is being hosted for profit. I do not want or intend to damage the modding industry. Disclamer #2: Any loss of data as a result of this program or a mod created with this program is not my responsibility (shouldn't be a problem).

Installation/Creating Mods
Installation
To install Linkseyi's ModMaker, download the zip file hosted on this forum thread, and extract it to a permanent location. To run the program, open Linksyi's ModMaker Beta.exe.
Generating and Installing Mods
Once you have created your mod to your specifications, you can generate necessary files by clicking the "Generate" button beneath the elements list. If all goes well, the program should write java files, and then compile them. It will automatically open the folder you have saved your mod to, in a sub-folder titled "minecraftdotjar". In this folder you should see another folder called "linkseyi" (this is where texture files are stored), a .class file that starts with "mod_*" along with multiple other files that are based off the contents of your mod.
* If your "minecraftdotjar" folder does not include a "mod_*" file, there has likely been a compiler error. If you are experienced in java, you can try generating files in Debug Mode, or you can post your project file to this thread and I'll try to fix it.
To install your mod:
Open User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar in an archiver (I recommend 7-zip).
Copy all of the contents of your \minecraftdotjar to your open minecraft.jar file.
Within your minecraft.jar file, delete the folder \META-INF.
Install ModLoader to your Minecraft installation. You can download that from here. (This adfly link is not mine, it directly supports Risugami).
Tutorials
Sandwich01 has made an official tutorial for ModMaker. If you make a tutorial, put it in a playlist and PM the link to me, and I'll add it below.

@cubealert25 You don't need to quote the whole first post. Its not needed, and it makes it a pain for the rest of us to scroll down through to see whats at the bottom. If you must absolutely need to quote a long post like that, please enclose it in spoiler tags, so it doesn't take up as much space.

i have been having some trouble with the mod maker, and i don't understand why... i put all the information in and created the mod and stuff, but i don't get the "mod_..." file when i generate it...
I would appreciate help, and it is showing me...

Please get the error report and P.M. it to me.
The best way to change your IDs is to set the Starting Block ID field to what you want before you start making your mod.
You can also go to Edit > Shift ID's, but this might affect recipes and furnace recipes if they contain any custom blocks (recipes are ID-based).
I don't think Java would be the problem. Does the PC that it doesn't work on have any other mods installed? They might be conflicting,
Thanks!
Anything above 255 is considered an item.

Really? Many IDs above 255 are unoccupied, e.g. 400-450.
Those are items.
