It is perfect! I don't like using MCEdit on my illegitimate maps but there was an old one that when updated to anvil it made my forest home in a ocean biome needless to say it was hard to find some much needed passive mobs thank you very much you are a gentleman and a scholar
Whenever I attempt to use this filter it gives me error saying, " '_nbt.TAG_Byte_Array' object has no attribute 'getValue'. It will do this after I have selected the area, pulled up the filter, and hit enter(or filter). It doesn't do it for any other filter, just the setbiome one. Anyone what's up? I am running the 64bit version of MCedit and am working with all the current updates for MCedit and MC.

Try using the SethBling-TESTING-0.1.2-10-ga984.win-amd64.zip version of MCEdit. I was having the same problem and this worked for me.
It appears that a lot of old nbt library code was commented out and replaced with new code in the latest version of MCEdit, including code affecting the TAG_Byte_Array object. SethBling will have to revise this filter for the latest update.
I use linux so there isnt an older version of it for me so im stuck with the TAG_Byte_array error, so if you could please fix it.
Before anyone asks why i use linux, it`s because i started using minecraft snapshots on my poor piece of intel crap, and i found that ubuntu linux seems to provide a crap ton more performance.
EDIT:
i use the source too by the way, if that helps.

I've updated the link here to a newer version of the filter that works with MCEdit 0.1.5: http://sethbling.com/setbiome
When I try to change the Biome it shows up this message "Exception during filter operation. See console for details. 'Key Biomes not found.'"
I already tried to fix, didn't work. How to fix it?

Hey, this is a bit off topic, but I need some help. Okay, so I have this ugly cliff wall that bugged out some how so that it's ocean right next to mountain and it makes it look really square, I've tried to set the ocean biome to muntains and then delete the chunk to I could get mountains, but it doesn't work. The biome will not change, I don't know why. Love you MCedit stuff and videos!

I have tried every means at my disposal (including using a whole different computer) and no matter what I do I still can't get it to work. It continues to give me the same error. Please help.

Any one know how to fix this.
Edit: added the console error log.
Edit #2:It seems like you can't edit the biome of any chunks that get generated by MCedit. how ever it seems you can edit the biome of any level that was not generated by MCedit
Edit #3: Confirmed, you can not edit the biome of any chunks you create in MCedit. it has to be created by Minecraft first then you can edit the biome.

I've updated the link here to a newer version of the filter that works with MCEdit 0.1.5: http://sethbling.com/setbiome
I made my own shader pack, by the way.
I already tried to fix, didn't work. How to fix it?

The filter is working fine for me in 0.1.5. Maybe you're selecting too large of an area?
