Is it possible to add iconsets currently (0.4.5)? I'm finding zero documentation on this.
After looking through the source and experimenting around a bit, it seems the icons folder is ignored.
New themes aren't listed even if index.theme and <name>.rqc files exist.
I just had to pop in and say that I just got finished playing around with that new piece of Junk Launcher Curse has released. I'm gonna be sticking with MultiMC. Keep up the good work guys and gals

There is no version of Forge for Minecraft 1.8.3 so I have to install Optifine the hard way. Unfortunately, I can't find the patches folder anywhere in my MultiMC directory. Does anyone know where it is?
MultiMC has a tab for jar mods that lets you place any mod that normally goes in the jar, that way you don't have to mess with the minecraft.jar

Seriously, I need to modify my Forge jar but there is no f**king way of doing it.
THIS HAS BUGGED ME FOR AN ENTIRE F**KING YEAR.
"there is no f**cking way of doing it": oh really? Did you ask? I doubt it, because if you had you would have gotten an answer like this (some knowledge of JSON is required):
Install the Forge version that is closest to the one you want to use (if you want a modified 10.13.2.1291, install 10.13.2.1291)
Open <instance>/patches/net.minecraftforge.json with a text editor
Find the entry for Forge (should be at the top) and append "-custom" (or something else) to the name, remove the url, and add "MMC-hint": "local"
Try launching the instance. It WILL fail and show you a path where it expects the forge jar to be. Put the jar there and relaunch the instance
If you have any issues feel free to come to #MultiMC on esper.net (link to this post so we know what you've tried).

That folder gets created when you add something to the instance that uses it (forge, liteloader etc.). You can just create it yourself (<instance>/patches/)
I'm trying to install Minecraft 1.8.1 Beta mods and I'd really like it if you could be more specific, I ended up breaking the instance and the error message isn't helping.

E: not possible, but in the works

We're currently migrating our DNS servers, so stuff might be a bit shaky for the next few days. More information is available here.

How do you install maps?
Hey, has anyone tried to go to the multimc official site lately? The site is down today with an error message from the provider.
In case you're still wondering:

Is there a way to change the layout and what each buttod does and says on the minecraft main menu using the custom and edit features of mmc 5?
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
MultiMC does not have functionallity for this, you'll need to find some mod to do that.
