man it's not my fault. how to tell father write the password of the account in multiMC? he think that it can steal, he think it can steal not he think it absloutely steal our password and usernames.can it steal why or why not?
I'm not a developer, so I can't tell you the backend on how it stores passwords. But I've trusted MultiMC since the start, and apparently 250,000 other people do too. If your dad wants to talk to a developer, you can wait until they come on this forum, or send them a tweet to @Forkk13,@peterixxx or @drayshak. I'm pretty sure they can answer your dad's question. But after that, I would make sure to get the latest version at http://www.multimc.org since it always has the latest security patches and can run the latest version of Minecraft.
EDIT: Also, if your dad is a programmer and can read C++, he can always look at the source code, since this is an open source project over at https://github.com/MultiMC/MultiMC5

Can someone bloody tell me how to install friggin SPC with this? I've been trying for ages, but It seems to be impossible to do anything with the jar tbh.
I can't add classfiles, and I can't add the worldedit jar and I can't add the com folder! WHAT THE HECK DO I DO? Can I somehow force my way inside the jar?

How about some chocolate.
Wow I've had this account since I was 11 years old and I still can't figure out mods.
OK.. was having some issue with forge and mods as somewhat of a newbie.. MultiMC looked like it can help so I watched the video and really installed and for the Edit Mods function. However when I just downloaded the recent version there is NO Edit Mods link on the right side of the screen and I can't find it anywhere.. where did it go or how do I enable this functionality.. thanx for any help/suggestion you can provide

In the newest versions "Edit Mods" has been replaced by "Edit Instance" and then "Loader Mods".

You may have to do it manually. If you want it for WorldEdit, and if you're using a 1.7 version, check out WorldEditWrapper, made by Mumfrey. It uses LiteLoader to add WorldEdit to single player. It's not an official version of WorldEdit, but it's the best there is until sk98q updates the Forge version to 1.7
Can I use your MultiMC banner? I've been looking for one for ages (and was too lazy to make one myself apparently)
Lol all I did was print screen the logo at the top of multimc.org. But if you want it, click here: http://i.imgur.com/NipDbdY.png and link it to your Signature. Then of course you can add a link to it.
cccp_burner, first off, this is about MultiMC, a launcher. What you posted is a modpack crash. It doesn't belong here.
Anyway, the crash looks like it has to do with CodeChickenCore. You sure you have CodeChickenLib, too? I found myself having to copy that from another modpack, once, to make it work.
On topic, I've been having issues. I posted it on the Github, but might as well post it here. One instance I have will get to "Getting the library files from Mojang...", then the whole thing will crash. It just goes full "MultiMC Launcher has stopped working". I've tried about four times, and it crashes every time. Juding on what it's crashing at, you might wanna take a look at how the files are acquired.
Is there any way to mute/hide certain console spam. Many mods seem to have missing textures and the spam caused by this is incredibly annoying and that is one thing that I don't need to see.

Sorry that's the same console Mojang's "Launcher" uses, ask your mod developer to fix the spam.
Have to admit it'd be a nice feature though..being able to pick and choose what got echoed to that screen or not. Yeah I told them about it, or at least a couple.
That REALLY looks like a virus. Make sure you are downloading MultiMC from multimc.org
i did download it from multimc.org but i actually think it may have been something else, seems any folder with a jar file is suddenly locked. only thing that i changed was downloading java 8

I don't know what you did, because 200,000 others figured it out, lol. Anyways, make sure you take that zip file, and extract all its contents into a folder. If you're not doing that, there's your problem. If you are doing that, maybe your extractor is locking your files unless you pay them.
Is it possible to share save files between different versions without having to copy it each time to the version you want to play?
Example, I have 1.7.10 and 1.7.10 (with shadersand different mods) I what both versions to use the same save file at anytime I wish
You'll have to move it every time. You could possibly request it as feature in a future version by tweeting the creator (@Forkk13) or the others working on it (@peterixxx and @drayshak)
Can anyone tell me why I get the following error when using Forge with Minecraft 1.6.4 (and 1.7.2) in MultiMC 0.4.2? I get the same error even if I use the windows version of the client.

All I did was create a 1.6.4 instance, add in the highest version of Forge for that instance and run. No config files or mods installed other than Forge.
