But, i'd like a way to load optifine without Forge or Liteloader, cause Minecraft 1.7.5 has no compatible Forge or Liteloader versions and it doesn't loads optifine or any mod from MODS FOLDER wirhoyt Forge/Liteloader '-'.
Well, the implementation that is being worked on would be for exactly that
I need some help. Multimc doesn't download all of minecraft's assets. Well, it doesn't download the sound. Can I have a fix to this or something please?
Please create an instance to trigger the assets download and then upload your MultiMC-0.log to pastebin or similar and post a link here.
I've really come to like MultiMC and it is now my client of choice. Being able to easily swap between my various modpacks, and the integration with FTB is fantastic, and makes my life so much easier. The fairly recent addition of a little indicator for the status of Mojang's servers is a really nice touch. I don't know what Mojang was thinking with the design of their new launcher, since the "profiles" are really just rubbish.
I would love to see an option to add configurable Minecraft servers to that indicator (for example, I might add an indicator for my friend's private server since that one just goes up and down all the time). I know MMC 5 was supposed to bring scripting into play, although I've seen nothing about that being added in a good while, so when it is added I would like to see some functionality for adding custom servers implemented.
However, if the scripting has been added, it would be nice to have some front-end indication, since I've been doing a little digging and found nothing.
But still, fantastic launcher for anyone who enjoys modding, or even for those who do virtually no modding! I can imagine people using MMC for accessing servers running different versions of Minecraft and never touching a mod, as well as players having an instance with a few client-side mods for casual play and a vanilla client for extremely-competitive servers with strict mod rules.

Hey, I just noticed i can't log in to my 1.4.7 world anymore with multimc 4.3, couldn't connect to host
Is it just my setup or are others seeing this too?

MultiMC 4.3 hasn't been supported for a while now, and Mojang recently shut down their old login servers. Why don't you switch to MultiMC 5?
I am trying to load the new version of Matmos for 1.6.4 that only runs through Liteloader. MultiMC5 "Install Liteloader" - pressed that and it now says its present. Downloaded the 1.6.4 Matmos and is present and tickboxed in mods folder. But, it doesn't appear in the in-game mods list and I don't get any Matmos sounds or control menu. What am I missing?
EDIT- Ignore please - found out what the problem was and all working fine!
Mind telling us what was wrong? I would certainly like to know.
Hi. MultiMC 5 is shear brilliance! Thanks for the awesome program/launcher. It has enabled me to make my modpacks portable (playing on any PC via a thumb drive)!
Also MultiMC 5 is an easy way to back-up my modpacks if my PC crashes. Plug and play!
I have been reading this forum but am still abit blur about this:
01) Can FTB modpacks be imported into MMC5 (and not just "linked") making them portable with MMC5 (via a thumbdrive)?
02) How could I "import" other MMC5 modpacks (into one MMC5 prime launcher) without starting from scratch?
03) I have various MultiMC 4 launches each with various modpacks. How could I import these into a prime MultiMC 5 launcher?
So basically I would desire one MultiMC 5 launcher to contain "all" modpacks (FTB or my own). Could anyone help with one or all of the above with a relatively detailed guide for a noob like me?
So sorry if this is too long a post. My first post.

What I do for FTB is I put the folder with the FTB launcher in it inside of the instances folder. That way, I can access the FTB launcher by pressing the instances folder button, and by having the launcher there, you can transport it with multiMC. You can also copy linked modpacks to multiMC using the copy button. This makes a multiMC instance, not an FTB instance, that is the exact FTB instance at the time of copying.
To import an instance, put the instance's folder into the instances folder on the other launcher. This should puut the instance in the default group and you can organize it as you see fit. Same thing goes for MMC4 instances. MMC5 launches them just fine. When I upgraded, i actually just moved my instances folder from the MMC4 folder to the MMC5 folder. It's that easy.
Hey Goreae. Thanks for the reply. I have tried you suggestion concerning migrating FTB packs into MultiMC 5 and it works for me! Will test other suggestions about migration from MultiMC 4 asap.
Thanks for your time and patience! ou have saved me alot of time. =)
PS: MultiMC 5 is the greatest. A vast improvement on the Minecraft Launcher.
Hi! I have been using MultiMC for quite a while now for my Minecraft purposes. I was previously using a Windows 7 HP notebook computer for it, however that computer gave out on me. I have since gotten a Windows 8 HP Notebook, that I would like better if it wasn't for when I play minecraft using MultiMC it closes my inventory when I click the arrows and if I click options in any menu screens. I have searched for an answer but to no avail. If someone could help me with this that would be greatly appreciated.
I tried to play using Technic today and I didn't have the issue with inventory and menu closing. So I believe the problem lies with MultiMC. Thank you for any help you can lend to me!

1. Are you using any mods?
2. Do you have Forge installed, if so what version?
3. What is your java version? (This can be obtained with cmd and typing "java -version"
4. Press "Upload Log" on the MultiMC console, and it'll open your browser with a link. Post that link.

1. Yes, quiet a few.
2. I have forge, I am using the last updated version for 1.6.4
However, It seems to be a problem with the instance I was using and not Multimc its self. I re-downloaded all the mods into a new instance and the new instance didn't give me the same problems as the first one did. I am not entirely sure If the instance is corrupted considering it did this since the day I got it.
3. I am using a 64 bit version of Java Script, if that is what you're asking.

I remember what it used to do was if you played offline, your skin would be default Steve. Now if I play offline, it is the skin that I have on my account. I don't think this is a bug. but I wish it was the way it was before.

I don't think that has anything to do with the launcher. 1.7.9 has a feature that the server downloads the skins, and single player has a server built in.

You actually don't have to migrate anything. Just put the new .exe in the same folder as your old one and it runs out of the box.
