I was a multicraft user on my old laptop, and now that I have a new laptop, I found MultiMC. Was able to quickly pull together my Better Than Wolves world from the old machine and the pre 1.3 snapshot world that I started on the new machine. Thanks!
So i got everything installed and planned on coming back to Minecraft just because of this butttt ive experienced a proble. I have everything installed right and it even says when i log in 33 mods loaded...but it doesnt show me any of them. This happens after i instal mods. The .jar file mods work fine its just after i add the mods themselves in NEI and everything doesnt show up but it says they are running any help.
P.S. I belive i updated my comp for 64bit java today would that have anything to do with minecraft only showing vanilla?
Been using this for quite a while. Recently tho, I've started having an issue with it. If I play for more than about 20 minutes and close the game, the console doesn't show, so I can't close MultiMC. I have to open task manager and manually end the task. I've tried to change the settings (Show console while the game is running and Automatically close console when the game quits) to all combinations (1 on, 2 on, 1 off, 2 off, etc) and that didn't work. I'm on Win7 with Java 7 both 64 bits and 32 bits. Is that a known bug, or is there a solution that I missed in the previous pages?

I keep getting this error when i try to use a texturepack. any thoughts on how to fix it? i have force updated everything but it still does it.
If you are using MCPatcher for HD textures RP2pr5b2 has issues with it. Use Optifine OR if you update your Forge(which I recommend regardless) you can use up to 64x textures(I think) without MCPatcher or Optifine.
The newest Forge will also take care of the 4096 fix and ModLoaderMP so you could remove those also.
This made me sit up the whole night testing mods. Works perfectly for everything I've tried so far (Clay Soldiers, Mo Creatures, Smart Moving, ComputerCraft + some more).
Best launcher I've ever tried too. The mod index was right, this is a lot better than the bloated MagicLauncher. Works a lot faster too.
Unfortunately doesn't work on Ubuntu 12.04. I've installed mono-complete via apt-get.
I double-click and it does nothing, except creating an unreadable file.
What can I do? Has anyone else encountered issues with Ubuntu 12.04?

You can use MultiMC 4. (it's still in alpha testing though, but pretty stable) http://ci.forkk.net/job/MultiMC4/
Make sure you have the latest libwxgtk and libcurl packages installed though.

Thanks, I'll try this out! I'll look on the Internet for those packages as they are not available through apt-get. (I'm rather new to Linux systems)
Is there a way to delete old backups? Can I just delete the .git folder and start over? Also, is there better documentation on custom icon specs? I can not seem to import any good icons.
Amazing, awesome program. Don't know where i would be without it. Thank you.

Those libraries seemed to be installed as MultiMC worked, maybe under another name as stated kotoroshinoto (thank you!).
MMC4 worked like a charm, it just misses a play-offline feature.
Had a problem while playing one of my instances launched from MultiMC. I had to do a hard system reboot. I wasn't worried about my save or anything because I backup every time I quit, and had only just launched the game. Now, when trying to launch MultiMC, it doesn't launch but instead generates this error report.
